- Chorus for reinstating Nepal as a Hindu state is growing. A section of Nepal’s biggest and oldest party Nepali Congress are demanding to restore the ‘old glory’. Around 150 members of the party’s national council have signed a petition for the same. Nepal’s fifth-largest party in the parliament, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, has even submitted a 40-point charter to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to make the country a Hindu kingdom again.

Kerala economy is run on remittance money from abroad. There is no industry as such to speak of other than the film industry and a some of IT parks. There are no competitive home grown companies that show excellence with the exception of maybe Muthoot. The level of corruption within state government is probably only eclipsed by Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Early achievement of literacy is the only thing going for it. People are improving their lives not because of the government but despite the government. What a role model for the world!!!
