Really good! Thanks for all you do. Might be worth pointing out that challenge 22 is completely free. I've seen that people often think activists are trying to get something out of the public. No, we're just raising awareness for the victims 🙂
Glad she listened, but I think when people don't view animals with the same respect as they do humans, it's unlikely to change them permanently. Some people are just so caught up in themselves, they can't see the suffering.
I understand why you'd say so but I think I disagree. Before committing to veganism I had the same selfish excuses, through education I learned that my inconvenience was nothing compared to the suffering of that animal. I think this person is on that path also :)

Reference Save Ralph, it's ironic to me that when you go on to places like IMDB and read the reviews for it you have all these people saying how great it is and that we should stop animal testing (which of course we should) but at the same time how many of them would be championing a documentary telling us to end animal agriculture? Not many I expect. All these carnists getting all empathetic over stuff like animal testing and fur, yet three times a day they happily sit down to a plate of cruelty that they have no intention of giving up. Yeah go watch Dominion kiddies, and see if you can sit through that to the end, it certainly isn't 4 minutes of an animated bunny.

How do you get people to stop to chat?
I hold up signs with slogans like "is animal abuse justified if it gives us pleasure?", or "if we can live a healthy life as a vegan, why pay to kill and eat someone?". Sometimes I initiate conversations or sometimes I will wait until someone stop to ask about the sign. Curious people who are the ones more likely to change will talk to me. :)

nope, it's about minimising cruelty / abuse / exploitation. At the moment food cannot be completely cruelty free. We already had this discussion redbriarn :)
@@Amber.For.Animals do you advertise this in your outreach? Do you discuss the issue of multi billion dollar companies like Monsanto, Bayer , Bell Labs making poison bait pellets that target different animals like rabbits, mice, pigs, groundhogs, birds, and kangaroos.
@@redbriarn6295 I dont. I agree this is an issue which deserves attention but I have a very short time with the people I speak to and so I focus on animal agriculture in general, as that is causing a vast amount of the death and suffering of animals. Maybe I will touch on this in the future though :)
@@Amber.For.Animals here’s a hypothetical example of what you are doing… your house is on fire ( paying multi billion dollar companies making profit from selling poison to farmers) but your neighbor has a busted pipe and their house is flooding… so you call a plumber to come out and fix your neighbors house… while your house burns to the ground.. ( the neighbor in this hypothetical is animal agriculture) … you don’t eat meat or anything from an animal… so why not worry about your own participation in animal deaths and suffering first?
