Coming from the guy who interviewed James that day, a little insight: Bands of this size and magnitude usually always have 'do not ask "THIS" about us' style questions. When I was prepping for the interview (the first time I have really ever interviewed anyone of this scale), I was told there were no 'off bound' questions and if anyone didn't want to answer anything, they would simply say otherwise. Working with these guys was a fucking dream come true for me. Every one of them were nothing but gentlemen and I truly appreciate every second spent with them over the 7 days we shot and recorded the 'Live in Copenhagen' DVD/ Bluray release. I always see myself as someone that calls a spade a spade, and this was truly a fantastic experience. Huge love to Het.
"People are people, man. We're no greater than each other. We get the same sized soul and we're trying to feel happy and we're trying to feel loved." I hear you, man.
I love james, when i saw metallica i ericsson globe arena in 2018 i held my hand out when metallica was walking of the stage and james gave me a "giveme5" and it was one of the happiest moments of my life my childhood, his and metallicas music has helped me alot. The day i die i will have metallica on my funeral❤
I pray that James is currently doing well. The transformation in his life that enabled him to open up and talk like this is such a blessing to all of us.
Been through this stuff and being sober since over 20 years..man I can you tell you this is hard work again and again.. and I'm not a Rockstar with all the temptations around... he's brave doin this job but he have to face that he's vulnerable...and I think he is paying attention right now. Love & Respect Bro!
Everyone is human and some fight with demon's, but no one is perfect or better then the next person. James a great man, inside and out. You are loved brother, thank you for taking the time to talk about your personal struggle. I am 1000% behind you no matter what. Rob and Kylie in Southern Oklahoma. Let's go hunting. LOL
I’m glad James is following his rehab more now, he has been touring so much recently, that he definitely needed that time off and to miss the upcoming concert.
It must be really hard to conquer the world, be the biggest band of his generation and still be humble like that, feet on the ground、congrats to James.

Dude, any other rocker or "celebrity" would bitch out, and not even answer these legitimate questions.
