I love your jeep! I wish some of these events didnt require such big tires. Then again, I dont have a lot of experience crawling, and im pretty sure having big tires like 35s and up can definitely make the experience less stressful. I have never been to moab, and I was wondering if its possible to even go through it with 32" tires? I have a TJ rubicon, but it only has a 2" budget lift. I was planning on camping out there for a weekend, and I have an RTT mounted with a bunch of camping gear. Any feedback is appreciated.
There are plenty of options for you and your setup here at Moab. 35's are nice, but you would be surprised what your TJ on 32's and mild lift will take you on especially since you have lockers. Trails such as Fins N Things or Hell's Revenge, and Gold Bar Rim are all trails that could be done with your setup.
@@CrawlinTJ50 I appreciate your reply! That makes me feel a bit more relieved. Currently chasing down a P0301 code in my 05 TJR and I fear I may need a new or rebuilt engine. I love the content, keep up the good work. God speed and god bless.
Do Moab! You’ll have a blast! Some my favorite memories are wheeling trails like fins n things, hells revenge, poison spider and 7 mile rim all when my 01’ sport tj was stock with 31’s and jks disconnects. Really helps teach you driver skill.
What are some specs on the stretched silver TJ? Axles, tire size, wheelbase, and height from ground to frame? Please. Beautiful and exactly what I’m going for!
Thanks! I should probably do a video on it at some point. Here’s the basics: 00 TJ 4.0 5-Speed Manual 3 Link Front 4 Link Rear 19.5” ground to bottom of the frame under drivers door 102” wheelbase 4.88 gears Atlas II 5.0 transfer case G2 Core 44 Front axle- Detroit Locker Ford 8.8 rear- ARB locker 37” BFG KM3’s Walker Evans Racing Beadlocks
That stretched silver TJ just works. Nice build!
Thanks. I'm very happy with the results.
Awesome!
