i just bought this exact car and i love it ! very expenisve looking, drives smooth! ive been geting lots of looks in the street too, i think people are looking at this new sentra as " is that a sentra" lol
I can’t believe this is a Sentra. The interior looks downright expensive and the exterior is a huge improvement over last years model. I’m on my third Nissan and I’ve never had an issue with the cvt. As long as you maintain the vehicle properly and change the transmission fluid these cars can go a very long time. People forget that continuously variable transmissions are designed for fuel efficiency not for sports car driving.
Dont waste your money, it's gonna break down right after your warranty expires. It uses up more gas then a toyota truck. Also have you tried driving it uphill?
Another great review of a nice little car. Like most folks I don't really like CVT's either, but, oh well, this Sentra is still way better than the last one anyhow..... it looks awesome!
Excellent review. I purchased the same white/black sr premium. Its an amazing car. Everytime i look at, it lifts my mood. Well done Nissan. Nissan might have renamed this car bcz its a giant leap from the previous year
I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S with over 195,000 miles on it. Never had an issue with the original CVT. I changed the fluid every 60,000 miles as required in the owner’s manual. Nissan is capable to be reliable as Toyota and Honda. You haters should learn how to read a manual and drive a car properly and you won’t have any problems long term.
They look good but won’t last! I had a Nissan Sentra 2013 and I had to replace the a/c compressor and a year after that the transmission went out. Run from Nissan cars! Now I have a reliable Honda.
This two toned Sentra looks great. Hopefully Nissan decides to offer a Nismo performance upgrade next year. A car this good looking deserves to go faster.
The new Sentra looks good! I hope Nissan can regain its position in the industry and make great cars again. again like in the 80s and 90s. Greetings from Chile
Good luck to ya... Better get yourself 1 of those aftermarket extended warranties... Only cvt I've ever heard going passed 150k is a 1st gen honda cvt civic...
Well from my experience with the 💩CVT transmission the warranty is for about 80k when I hit 88k. I got the pleasure of paying 3k for a new crap transmission. Good luck with that😜
153,000 miles on our 2010 Nissan cube. No issues yet. However, I did have a 2011 Rogue that had a whining CVT at about 50,000 miles. Certainly not every CVT will fail, but I think it's prevalent enough to cause concern.
My 2014 Nissan Altima was 50K miles only and CVT transmission broke down, AC unit broken down. I'll never buy Nissan anymore until they built it reliable again.
Oh wow, I'm very impressed with the redesign of the 2020 santra....they've been lacking for years in the small, compact car category....maybe this might be a new beginning

I don’t know the day of the week either. All Day I thought today was Wednesday. I think this Sentra is a Super Value LOADED for under $24K before discounts. All it’s direct competition comes to $30K and over. Like Mazda 3, Civic TOURING, Corolla $29K .
The one thing I wish reviewers would mention for the safety is that the forward Collision warning warning isn't standard forward Collision warning, it is a more intelligent system. So it reads two cars ahead instead of just one. I have already had it save my butt because I couldn't see past an SUV and the vehicle in front of them slammed on their brakes and it warned me before the car in front of me had a chance to react keeping me from rear ending them.
lol mine has randomly applied the brakes when there wasn't a single soul on the road twice now. Also applied it because a pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk
