There's a plastic woven commercial weed barrier that a lot of homesteaders use in America. I started using it and burning holes where I grow plants. You want to burn holes with a torch rather than cut it because it'll come apart after time and wind. Used to do a ton of weeding now I don't do any.

It is so very beautiful there! I would love to experience seeing the whales up close and personal. I live in US VA on South east coast. (On Atlantic Ocean). I have been on a boat in the ocean and had a pod of dolphins show up and and circle our boat, close enough to reach out and touch them. But no whales on that trip.

Wow, who put that Weed Eater together? Those handles are in the worst orientation. They are supposed to be rotated up, so that you are in a comfortable (mostly upright) position, with both hands on the handles. If you get them in the right position, it will be much better for your back, shoulders and arms..
I like that you are learning as you go. I followed Jake and Nicolle for years but got tired of Jake and his know it all attitude and kinda bossy. Both of you are so refreshing and down to earth. You definetly should clean up the area though. Keep up the wonderful vlog.

Kiki is strong ! On your way down you can try to go around the rope one time with one leg before pinching it between your feet, you can control your descent better and save your hands that way 😉
