  • Abstract: The increasing demand for scarce raw materials in emerging technologies poses critical challenges to manufacturers and suppliers. The potential disruption in the supply chain emphasizes the need for innovative solutions to enhance reverse cycles, including recycling, repair, and remanufacturing. This seminar explores the pivotal role of disassembly in circular component/material recovery and presents research contributions at the intersection of human-robot interaction and disassembly modeling and simulation. Leveraging collaborative technologies, the seminar explores how human-robot process modeling, simulation, and data analysis can be effectively applied to advance and automate disassembly systems. Outcomes include addressing positioning errors during human-robot interaction and modeling disassembly using CAD models. Finally, the seminar will seek to demonstrate the transition of research findings to new study areas to contribute to transforming the circular economy.
