This is one of the most Fucked Up (in a good way) sonic fangames I've ever seen. It's like you've taken every single style of gameplay in the series, smushed them all together, and then added a few more things for good measure, and despite all odds, it's somehow worked???? I do think the controls look rather... well, there's a lot of them, and that's not necessarily a good thing.
make a seperate simpler tutorial that covers enough basic moves to get people goin, so that they picked that first and only go with the advanced tutorial if they really want to, learning crazy extra moves by your self is an amazing feeling and even then when you have levels that require thise crazy moves you can just teach them there instead
have u ever thought bout changing for sonic to run by slightly moving the analog stick whilst r2 is to drift, square to boost etc? or will there be an option to customise controls
The option to let players customise or rebind controls is something that still needs implementing. However, this may prove tricky as I'm currently using the old Unity input system. Hopefully I can get this one sussed.
This fan game looks awesome, but I’m just wondering if it’s possible to play with a keyboard rather than an Xbox controller, as I don’t have an adapter to use. I’ve tried playing this game with a keyboard, and I can do some very basic movement, but I don’t seem to be able to use the majority of Sonic’s move set, i fact the tutorial doesn’t even recognize me using the mouse to control the camera. If anyone knows if there’s a way to play this game with a keyboard let me know.
Thanks for responding and considering my comment, I understand completely, game design is hard, and I see it as an accomplishment that you were even able to make it work with the Xbox. Y’know you seem pretty nice for someone who’s supposed to be “evil”
I've recently implemented a way to adjust Quality settings. Once I've updated the build, I'll upload a new video showcasing the fixes and changes I've made. For the time being, reducing the Far Clip Distance Slider in the options menu should reduce the render distance, thereby improving performance somewhat.

im having the same issue
Thank you for letting me know. I'll be sure to implement Keyboard controls for when I next update. A rookie mistake on my part.

for now you can just use a virtual xbox controller that allows you to input keys from your keyboard its what im doing rn and its worked pretty well
I have now updated the build to the latest version on google drive so keyboard and mouse controls should now be implemented.
hey can you add graphics settings so low end pc's like mine can handle it?

could you try adding only keyboard controls later on?
The latest version now has keyboard and mouse controls implemented:

but what if i dont want to use the mouse. can I change the keybinds so that i can press a key instead of using the mouse?@@evilbritishguy3581
