- Last month Robert had the opportunity to test the UNNO MITH eMTB at the trails near the UNNO HQ in Barcelona. It was a super fun day!
Join along for the ride as we follow Pablo from The Bike Village bike shop, and put this crazy Bosch-powered eMTB to the test.

These manufacturers have gone crazy with the prices. The cheapest UNNO costs 9500 USD., full equiped 15.500 USD... I am all in for the e-mtb˙s, but what is too much - IS TOO MUCH.
They're certainly not for everyone, and we'd struggle to put our own money into such an expensive bike. But, for the high earners out there, the uniqueness and boutique feeling and looks may be worthwhile. They certainly exude one of the highest quality feelings out there.
@@TheLoamWolf You guys are great! My comment was just on the prices. You are doing great job and presenting us lots of bikes. Thank you for that and Happy 2024 to all team! Regards from SLOVENIA!
We appreciate that a lot! And Happy 2024 to you too, we hope it's full of good riding.
In terms of pricing, we'd all love the numbers to come down. But given the lack of economy of scale in the boutique side of the bike industry, we understand why things cost as much as they do, sometimes!
I’m a musician and manufacturer of saxophones and related gear and since the www manufacturers have pushed gear that was way over the head of musicians who weren’t competent players and the gear thing in every walk of life have overtaken people’s abilities.
On the other hand some of the greatest musicians I’ve known weren’t at all interested in the latest and greatest stuff on the market.
Back when I was popular, it wasn’t uncommon for me to throw people out of my shop who had no business being there and should have been home practicing. Same thing with bikes. Gear is largely a status symbol but try to tell people that. Don’t fall into that trap or as my mom used to say “SUCKER!”
Great Video 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 what’s the Warning message on Kiox display at minute 21:12. Overheating?
Large rock rolls, and a high uncomfortable saddle height…. Sketchy! 🤘🏼😂 The last trail was really sick. Thanks for sharing another great bike.
Just a little bit!😂 Thank you for the kind words and thanks for watching, much more to come in ‘24!🤘🏼
I have it in a s3 (xl) and run a 210mm dropper no issues at all , have more clearance than i do on my orbea wild . Running a smashpot in the front and the bike now epic on the fast descents
Robert, you showed some serious skills riding all of that blind on an unfamiliar bike! You were on the local's back wheel on the fast trails and did the boulder sections on the last trail like you knew them. Super cool
Thank you John, appreciate the kind words! 🤘🏼
That was my first thought. I can't ride some one elses bike without SERIOUS modifications. And defninitely not with a one piece
That was a really fun ride! I have to say that it was really impressive to see you riding all these features in your first ride with such confidence. You rock!
You are welcome to come to ride any time 🥳 cheers buddy!
Dude, getting buck! Love the nose pierce Robert :)
Collserola trails right? Yeah kinda crazy having this kind of rides that close of a big city
I think this is in sanvi hills not in collserola
Yewwww! Good times!!
I almost bought this bike, but due to that long seat tube and low bottom bracket height, I didn’t go with it...the frame quality though, is among the best! When will that group test take place? Keep up the good work
That's understandable, it's not for everyone. The frame quality does seem to be exceptional, we agree. The Group Test will be filming end-April/start May with videos being released from around 2 weeks after. Thank you!
@@TheLoamWolf Awesome...waiting for that Crestline review as well😉!
Would love to know which trails you rode! I know it's in collserola somewhere!
Honestly, we couldn't tell you. Haha! We were very much along for the ride. Good fun though - hit up The Bike Village for the knowledge!
Is there a power meter in the display?
EDIT: Never mind it's Bosch gen4 yes it has a power meter.
Yes indeed!
I have a custom Unno Burn, custom Ikki, custom Mith. Best bikes! Oh, I have a custom Rocky Mountain Instinct Powerplay.
my arse was twitching just watching that last trail. lol
It reminds me of the old Turner DHR frames
Nihao ✌❤
The steering on that thing looks sketchy like you can't get into the corners with confidence or make any sudden changes
We didn't feel this during testing.
boutique bike
Top.Top.
Thank you!
@TheLoamWolf I can get not having tools on a ride. We have all done it! But out of all those riders there wasn’t one Allan key set or multi tool? That blows my mind ha ha. Specially for the guid not to have anything.
I bought one! Probably a crazy move but I like quirky bikes. Its not perfect but always an occasion to ride and feels super capable on most trails. I have had mine 9 months and it feels somewhat pre production with some frame trim pieces inperfect/missing and motor cable chaffing issue. I am not so bothered about the saddle height, I am short and got an S1 and feel I can move the bike around enough, I like the short wheelbase coming from a long bike. On the subject of that while the frame is beautiful it (and the bike as a whole) is a couple of notches down on overall quality compared to some other premium outfits. And being in UK purchasing routes and technical support has not been as good as my last bike. I am happy to figure things out myself but there is no user manual (online or not) for this bike. No suggested rear shock setup guide which would be OK but to refine it on the trailside is not easy so at least a starting point would be nice from the developer of the great looking VPP suspension. I still love the bike though for how it rides and covers ground, and its great to have something so unique.
What is your height? I am 1.75m(with shoes on), and cannot decide between S1 and S2
I would say S2. The reach on S1 is quite short and just OK for me at 1.7m
@@jediali221 When sitting on the saddle with the seatpost fully inserted in the seat tube, do your legs touch the ground properly or toes only? Because on the S2, my toes only touch the ground
I have a custom Mith. Everything you wrote I can't confirm. I also have a custom Ikki and custom Burn. Never had any problems. I'm 285 lbs and 6" 7". I live in Spain. We probably have the toughest terrain worldwide. I shred the absolute shxx out of my bikes,...
@@Nein_doch_oooh maybe I had an early production one.
As a designer I love seeing the lines of this construction, it has the aggressive hypercar look of a Lamborghini.
However, what's up with the seat tube?
No way there's enough room to slam the seat-post enough to get the saddle out of the way eh right, also aesthetically, it looks a bit unbalanced yknow 🥸🧐
Pricing, dude who cares there'll always be people buying expensive shit,
for every category of anything ever created there's always a high-end/luxury consumer somewhere.
People shouldn't complain that the most expensive bikes are too expensive
It's part of the concept.
Oh and on a side not, barcelona trails look fire.
Awesome bike If only i have money i would like to buy a nice bike
