i often hear you (justifiably) complaining about the frigid temps in garage - I really think swapping the spaces will be a great improvement. Are there doors on the basement level to move workout equipment downstairs and then move the storage from basement into garage with built-ins? You could also have one wall in basement for filming and do a wall of built in storage to hide things that cant be in a cold garage. i also know your bedroom is quite large so some of the seating from basement could go up there and be used for filming/reading zone, relaxation zone. Interior design tip from my contractor father and designer mother: if you haven't used a room aka spent time to RELAX in it in over a year, that means that you don't want to be in there. and that often is not because of a lack of storage, it just means that its current use doesn't actually work for your brain haha

I hope it’s really clear and illuminating and defo think that a trained dietitian should be able to provide some more evidence based help than maybe a naturopath would be able to. I was actually remembering that journey and your allergy testing from a while ago earlier in the vid when you were talking about your eye and wondered if they ever gave you any guidance on your options for allergy with kitties? I have a friend who’s currently getting immunotherapy injections to get rid of his allergy to his partner’s cat and I was wondering if that was something you’d been advised about! I’m inspired to keep doing my new year decluttering - I too fell in a heap between Xmas and NY and did not get to be as productive as I had planned. Needed it, my body was grateful for the rest! But now I am back at work and I think I’d subconsciously decided it wasn’t possible to do those decluttering things now which is not true Gablet snap out of it! Just got to chip away when I have time and I know it will make the difference. Cleaned out my junk drawer in my kitchen the other day and the peace I get from opening now is the best! Still got my eyes peeled for a possible Melbourne trip? I remember you dropped a little hint a while ago - PULease hit your girl up if you do come down under (perchance for the Australian open?!). I live 5 mins from where they do the Aus Open and heaps of the local cafes become tennis pro spotting hotspots and I’ll do some recon for you and would looove to show you around some of melbs hidden food, culture, fun and shopping gems!

Can’t wait to see what you do with the interior. I’m buying furniture for a new home and one thing I’ve noticed is that many of the brands carry the same pieces often under a different name. It pays to shop around. I saved $500 by doing that. Also it’s so smart of you to have waited and not impulse bought. I stopped myself from buying an overpriced table from a very well known big brand and found something else even better at a steal. Happy hunting!
Hold on to the little Dior bag because if you go to an event at Rogers or BC Place you can't bring in a big bag. The Dior bag will work for those times.

Don't feel guilty for not getting your house together! It's a big house and interior design takes a LOT of energy! My best advise is to go super slow. The slower you make your choices, the happier you will be with them in the long run. That being said, hopefully you love your interior designer, and she can help move you along. c:
There’s a book “Minimalista” that I’ve found particularly motivational for declutterring this week. I’ve been ruthless for once. Obviously like anything it’s about what works for you (I could never have adjustable wrenches laid out side by side in a drawer in my kitchen) but overall really good!
I love hearing about your tennis journey! Hope to see more tennis content in 2025 ❤ I play cardio tennis which is a blast but every now and then encounter people who are not fun to play with. Gotta keep the vibes high no matter what others do 😂.

I am one of those people who finds January ROUGH (so dark and cold!) and I have gotten into the habit of leaving my live Christmas tree up and decorations around the house until at least mid-month. They make the dark feel a bit less gloomy! Also, the smell of fresh tree gives me a bit more life on those days when I wake up and dark outside and when I get home from work and you guessed it, it is also dark outside.
