I love this city. Spend five days of mine there in last July. It was magical, I love the atmosphere, warm persons, I was feeling very welcomed. God bless Northern Ireland.
You were unlucky that you were here while it was raining because it only rains here 3 times a year. Once for 6 months, then for 5 months and finally for 3 weeks.
The last time I was in Belfast was 1997. I can't believe how much its changed. Brings a lump to my throat. What happened to the cricket ground on the Lower Ormeau Road? A fantastic place for a drink after 3pm on a Sunday! And so many pubs seem to have disappeared as has the cinema next to the Chicago Pizza Pie Factory. I need to come back and pay a visit. So many good and bad memories.
It’s the metro buses 😊 the ulsterbus is blue and white (it used to be all ulsterbus). There’s also purple gliders which are like trams without the tracks or cables 😊

Thanks so much for this video! I was visiting a friend in Dublin for a week and made a day trip to Belfast on the weekend and I fell in love with the city from the moment I stepped foot on Lanyon station lol. Absolutely love the vibe - a perfect mix of a more industrial vibe blended with a slightly hipster-ish feel un the city center with all the cool bars and street art everywhere. And of course, the locals were lovely! I will definitely come back one day and spend more time in the city whenever I have the chance. Cheers to all Irish folks out there from Bulgaria 🇧🇬❤☘

Glad I can visit! I know many friends and family who have always wanted to visit Ireland. Here in the states we love the culture! Lots of positive associations with it (colleges, cities like boston, movies, holidays, pubs, etc to name a few)

Belfast folk.... is the Zoo still there? Can't remember the name, but there was a beautiful manor type house near to the zoo, up the top of a hill. There was cave hill (and a glen which was lovely). At some points, you could look out at night and see the gorgeous Yellow cranes (H & W, cause of arguments lol, are they called David and Goliath?) and all the way out to sea. It was such a beautiful sight. I've not been in over 25 years, but had so many happy holidays and fun times :-D I enjoyed this video.

Love how Dublin and Belfast look so similar yet so different. Different road signs, one uses kmph while the other uses mph. Different currencies. Belfast has Vauxhall while Dublin uses Opel. It's crazy.
@@Jake-vf3me Dublin is much older ,it was established as a city by the vikings and the predominant style is georgian whereas belfast is only 300 years old at the oldest and really only got going in victorian times which is why the architecture is victorian not georgian.
In case any visitor to Belfast in the summer, after a night out, thinks it might be a good idea to stay out all night and watch the sunrise at City Hall, don't do it, it's not worth it.

I think the old city buses used to be red and white. I think that is why they are now coloured pink.
You mix red and white paint you get pink.

As I live in Belfast, the weather is either rainy or sunny and I say to God "pick one!" He picks rain for most of the time
