Hopefully the biopic will do him justice, especially seeing the images with his nephew. The family is working on keeping his image right and they’re even tackling the allegations. Michael most powerful and social songs came out in the 90s, even They don’t care about us hit a billion views on UA-cam recently.

It's just so sad, his letter is heartbreaking 😢😢 they were criticizing him a lot, he tried to ignore it but Michael was very sensitive... here is the full letter if you'd like to read it:
"Like the old indian proverb says
Do not judge a man until you've walked 2 moons in his moccasins.
Most people don't know me, that is why they write such things in which most is not true
I cry very very often because it hurts and I worry about the children all my children all over the world, I live for them.
If a man could say nothing against a character but what he can prove, history could not be written.
Animals strike, not from malice, but because they want to live, it is the same with those who criticize, they desire our blood, not our pain. But still I must achieve I must seek truth in all things. I must endure for the power I was sent forth, for the world for the children
But have mercy, for I've been bleeding a long time now." 💔
And they still didn't leave him alone...

Because of the bad press, was a lot of misunderstanding for the public. I remember talking the other day about MJ with a friend from Venezuela, and I ask her about her and the people from venezuela experience and she told me that a lot of people really love MJ, but they didn’t understand why he bleached his skin. I told her that he has an skin disorder name Vitiligo and Lupus and she was shocked to find out from me, she never heard about it. So I'm guessing that still until today people don’t know about this, I hope in the movie they address this so more people can understand him better.

I thought the exact same up until i watched that "Michael jacksons blackness" video. But to be fair i have lived all my life in a small rural village in Wales. The only visitors we get here are people we know. So growing up it was only friends family and neighbours to talk to or see. Was only until i went to college that i met people who wasn't Welsh or English haha
Not sure what excuses other people have for not knowing though >.>

See Seph, going through Dangerous without watching the iconic music videos (Remember the time, Black or White etc), then watching his Dangerous documentary, then years in review etc. before moving to HIStory makes most sense in my opinion. Even if you watch the lyric videos first, then watch all the music videos etc, just not going already to HIStory (which is awesome as well) without the proper context etc..

The problem with comparing current artists with Michael Jackson is that their level of fame and their fandom is not even close to being near Michael’s level. I was a teenager during this time period. I’ve seen Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber…even Taylor Swift. None of them compare in terms of fan mania. Michaels fame was like nothing I’ve ever seen.

This man MICHAEL JACKSON was so attacked by the media, newspapers, and tabloids making false accusations against him mainly the BAD album cover saying he bleached his skin, newspapers and media tried badly to bring him down unfortunately it failed because people still went and bought his music which says it all he’s THE KING OF MUSIC and that will NEVER CHANGE!🙌🏽👑💞🌟💯(1987 was a huge year for MJ the release of the BAD album, him not being a Jehovah’s Witness anymore and went on his first solo World Tour and till this very day BAD World Tour is Thee Greatest/Biggest World Tour Of All Time! It went from 1987-1989 simply lighting in the bottle the hysteria was so intense you could cut your wrist w/ the energy that’s how someone who I talked w/ explained their experience attending the concert. Also I want to mention that MJ is the only man who could sit at a japanese press conference w/ a pet chimpanzee, and yes this is the Era where the media because of MJ’s dominance w/ his Thriller album that they become almost envy of his accolades and adulation around him so they tried their best and went extremely out their way to ridicule him, calling him names like “Wacko Jacko”,saying he bleached his skin,he’s gotten 15+ surgeries done to his face,he baths in period blood etc. just really disturbing things and just outright ridiculous nonsense they will make up about him cause he didn’t do interviews etc. it was almost like they would say the most outlandish things to get his attention or response, MJ relatively did a excellent job of ignoring it and staying in his own lane. Now what you will see that you didn’t see much in the 80’s decade of MJ’s career is retaliation and a sense of rebelliousness which I’m glad MJ worked up the courage to do for his own well being and his integrity he didn’t deserve non of this BS seriously he was such a great man the montage of him hanging out w/ the japanese children all over the world taking in their culture, signing autographs, and seeing crowds of people swarm him like a flock of wild hyenas is just simply incredible we’ll never see anything like that ever again MJ was one of one and him hanging out at children’s hospitals/orphanages and giving away to charities etc. that’s the real Michael Jackson not all that tabloid junk the media was putting out at the time.)

7:48 Dont think it was so much the hair as it was the drastic change in his complexion. Remember this was 1987.. Nobody had seen or heard of anything like Vitaligo (his other skin condition), plus he had managed to avoid the public eye for a good 2 years so it would've been a shock. Personally THIS is the most memorable version of MJ to me.. probably because I was born a week before this was released. Imho his best look was between 82 to 91.

And we are so grateful that finally there's someone like you that opened its eyes and ears to the truth about what happened to this man. Seph, THANK YOU! Simply thank you for everything you have said in this video. As MJ fans this is what we have been dealing with for many decades, the media was awful and honestly, still is awful to him, without any obvious reasons. I guess when someone gets so loved and gathers such a huge following, those piranhas just want to capitalize on that by bringing that person down, playing on his most vulnerable emotions. So thank you again, and looking forward to new videos.
Oh and of course the phenomenal music, shows and videos be created must be the most important criteria for judging any artist.
