forgot to mention the 13 dex was in case you wanted to use backhand blades, which is super amazing for pvp, and with swift slash ash of war, is pretty good in pve. or beast claws. probably wont use it often, but having the option is nice. otherwise you can gain like 2-3 more pts in str/arcane, or if using the non prophet classes, you'll reach lv150 easier without losing dmg!
Thank you, the lvl 200 picture help me build correctly. Used a bit of different talismans to get it done Radiant golden mask - golden vow Mesmer solider armor, solidute legs gloves. Lord of bloods exultation, pearl and dragoncrest with the axe talisman.
Could be wrong here, but i think you can infuse this thing with occult and still get massive bleed, thanks to the blood spash effect on the R2s. Havent tested it much yet but will give it a try.
I have a arcane dex build using rakshasa armor to boost damage with two handed talisman,2 dex talismans and backhand blade with crag blade and you do insane damage to everything in the dlc and last talisman slot u can use for dmg negation
Wrong. Easily farmable at Prospect Town. Drops from those ogrish dudes who wield the weapon. Took me about 3 minutes from the time I spawned teleported to the grace next to the area.

I don't foresee anything being an upgrade, in fact now you should be 10% stronger due to the new patch! I've factored the talismans and tears already, and weapon wise the only new claw is somber so cant use endure, and same with curved swords. maybe a dex version using rhaksasha katana instead of normal? thats about it. the original build can also use this bonk weapon with str/arcane tho, so technically its better than dex/arc.
Honestly the DLC is so ridiculous that this weapon makes the fights feel fair. If I can only land one hit for every 20 hit combo they throw at me you best believe I’m hitting very hard.
the weapon is a dlc item, so unfortunately no. but going with normal greatsword into giant crusher eventually would smash elden ring base game. greatsword can be found easily with no fighting. but its a different build, you'd have to pump str up instead, and use giants hunts/lions claw as ash of war. also, you still need to get maxed out wpns for the dlc if you want to do good damage, so it'll be awhile before you can make this.
Can anyone confirm if we can dual wield these? I've been as prospect town for 2 hours and I've only got 1 to drop. Has anyone been able to get a second in the same playthrough? Thx!
you can duel wield any double weapon. but, idk if going dual wield would change the "bleed" explosion animation. that might be exclusive to 1 hand, so your stance damage or bleed proc may not be the same, so if you do drop a 2nd, i would test if the r2 animation does the bleed thing before upgrading the 2nd.
Fromsoft really shit the bed by making BLEED remain the strongest dmg type in the game. Every build video is x weapon with bleed. Duelwield x weapon with bleed. Do a few incantation to huff and tadaa that's 99% of the builds in this game. I really thought they would mix up the meta or add some build versatility with the dlc. Have over 300hrs, ng+10 half way through the dlc and it's honestly just been.. Really meh.. It's just the same game with a gimmick of collecting tree fragments in order to actually deal dmg + sustain it. Big let down
The funny part is you can choose how to play the game. Use mimic tear and dual katanas or lvl1 run. So to say they shit the bed by having a strong dmg option is kinda weird, if you don’t like it don’t use it? There’s strength build which are viable, int, faith, etc… The build here is made to be specifically broken. As for the dlc, that’s the point of it. It’s not a new game, it’s an expansion to add more content, lore, weapons, areas etc. if you don’t like seeing the new areas, enemies and bosses maybe it’s not a let down but it’s just not for you
@@4Factz_ i know mine has bleed affinity but you said you can proc bleed even with arcane affinity, and on paper bleed build up stays about the same but bleed does not proc
it doesn't "change" your scaling, if it did, you wouldn't bleed at all since the hammer can't bleed innately. you'd get S if you go occult scaling, but you'd have no bleed. whatever its doing is weird and probably unintentional, but it seems to treat the wpn as IF it had occult, but you keep your bleed bonus from bleed scaling still (so your grade wont change), or something, I actually have no idea, all I know is from test, it bled more often than other options, and at
well, i like channels that recommend something realistic, not some level 500+ degeneracy with softswaps from moonveil into a bonker into an incantation build XDD good job, level 150!
I'll never do a "one shot" build that involves swapping or using item buffs, just not my thing, even i'm too lazy for that shit here, 2 buffs, scream at miyazaki, and BONK!
@@PWARGaming yes, i just get tired of seeing those kinds of videos in my feed for some... god knows what reason XD actually this video can be helpful, unlike some experts over level 700 like when someone is struggling beating lets say the last boss of the dlc, they cant go for some f'd up max level build that they graciously created... also who wants to do max level invasions... all the brainless pew pews spams... no thank you XD
you only gain 1 bleed per level after 55. and while you do get B scaling, scaling drops off after 55. you can check this by going to the level up, and putting 1 point into str (dont confirm tho), then taking it away and putting 1 into arcane. going from 23>24 str gives me 630 AR in screen, and arcane 55>56 only gives 626. so in MOST cases, if a weapon has b/c scaling, going even after 50-55 is better than going 55>80. 55 is the soft cap and you get less returns up till 80, its why many 80 builds are trash. and STR has a unique bonus where 2 handing gives more str, so its just better for the 200 version. I also tried 80 just in case to see if bleed procs more and it was about the same rate.
is that the final boss? someone mentioned they beat him with this weapon, so should be possible. but idk, haven't made it there yet, if you want to beat bosses cheaply its best to go with the spark perfume spam or bleed spell spam, before its nerfed (they're gonna be, probably in a week or 2)

Decided to try this build out on Messmer since he was giving me a hard time, on the third attempt I was able to beat him, THANK YOU PWAR!!!

I think it’s a guaranteed drop from the bloodfiends at the top by the arcane boosting talisman in the area you showed.
There’s a location where you can just pick it up but I don’t remember the exact location

This wrecks mobs and bosses. Curious to see how it fares against Radahn on my second playthrough. Barely made it through with a turtle the first time.

Have you tested running two of them as a jump attack build ? Royal knights resolve on both and all that jazz.
You don't get the blood explosion on 2 handing. You'd lose out on some staggers and a bit of bleed

@B0NGERSON no, it does 3 small aoe hits that can proc multihit talismans, plus If you have bleed affinity it seems like it does more damage

can confirm you can dual wield, and the R2 charge attack is the same with AOE bleed splash. However it's a real equipment load tax to run 2

Any pure strength weapon is good against him because most of the time you have to dodge and sometimes have a window for a charged heavy
