This video is a collaboration with Tessa from ModernGurlz! Her video has an in-depth analysis that focuses on the characters of The Devil Wears Prada here 🖤 ua-cam.com/video/DtyTYh0nS4s/v-deo.html
One small critique of the video - The background music is way too loud. It's actually hard to listen to both of your words over the music. Apart from that small issue, great video so far.
I would love to see you addressing not only the glamorous side of the fashion world but its issues as well. I'm sure all of us are in complete awe of couture and the fascinating way we can express ourselves and create outstanding compositions by means of clothing. But we often tend to forget the harmful decisions big fashion houses made in the past, the insane amount of clothing that is thrown away, the horrible working conditions in most factories, ... I don't want us to stop having fun with fashion and experimenting - I just want those who are privileged enough to be able to choose a more "moral" and sustainable (that word has definitely been overused) way of dressing to be mindful. And I'm sure that you'll be able to present even those kinds of topics "aesthetically pleasing" (you know, sad but in a beautiful way)/give them the visual devotion & representation that they so desperately need. Xx
Yess thank you for uploading this! I was just discussing this film with my sister, comparing Emily in Paris' lack of respect for the world around her, to how Andy realises she needs to step up and see the value that fashion could bring her life and career. I haven't even pressed play yet, I just know your videos are always so high-quality and detailed. Thank you for taking the time for yet another analysis, can't wait to watch! Edit: Watched the video, perfectly encapsulates the respect that fashion not only deserves, but *demands* from Andy throughout the film.
Well, the environment Emily is in encourage her to be tough, look at how her colleagues were treating her :/ But agree on Andy, she definitely grow in the movie.
Loved this movie especially the fashion, of course! Enjoyed your analysis once again- fashion being spoken about in an intelligent way and not a frivolous way is very telling
yay! I love this! this movie is the best fashion movie for me. It is the movie that made me realize my love for fashion. This movie literally changed my life in ways I never expected. Thanks for the analysis anyway. Loved the collab! 💖 Great video as always ✨
Please give us a video on the brands associated with aesthetics, like you guys mentions preppy and gave a list of designers, could you do that with other styles like glamorous or athleisure/sporty etc
@@CleverAndChic I found you through Tessa’s Modern Gurlz page in the Devil Wears Prada video. The first thing I noticed was how your voice seemed somewhat sultry and seductive...ahah at least to my ears, so was very curious to see if that’s natural and apparently so!
First of all, your content is the best fashion content related I ever seen on UA-cam. You really are clever and chic! But I think you could do less vocal fry while narrating the videos. Maybe it's because English it's not my native language, but vocal fry sound really different and sometimes aggressive to ears that are not used to. I mean, it can be very seductive sometimes, but for more than a few minutes can be very tiring. Keep a good job and giving us such good content. Thank you so much!
The audio levels and balance is way off it’s such a shame. It’s not hard you just increase the decibels on the microphone levels in your editing software
hi just wanted to let you know that your blair waldorf video only has some music as audio is that normal? because i think i remember it having a voiceover...
I've been working on a body type series! I'll cover this topic in depth when filming since I'll have an adjustable mannequin to show how to style different body types
Can you do a style analysis of any or all of these characters please: Cookie Lyon, The girl characters from Friends, Elle Woods, Denise Huxtable, Carrie Bradshaw and Kelsey Peters (Younger)? Thank you for making these videos. Truly love them.
@Haya Alzayani. Think of UA-cam videos as your school where you can find wonderful teachers such as this one. The other viewers are your classmates, and their comments can add to your understanding. UA-cam can be a wonderful place, if you know where to look to find help.
Hi! I really love your videos but I want to comment on somthing related with the audio. It's really hard to hear your voice with the loud music. Maybe is because that my native language is not english? But I really love your way of talk and express the things in the video but I have to turn on subtitles to not lose what you're saying. Love your videos really
if fashion is a reflection of your mental state and your personality can you please tell me what my name is cause i dont know😭 ome day i wear black with lots of texture and asymetrical designs with added studd or gory accesorie pices and the next i wear bright bold yellow pinks and blues with bubble girl and barbie style sillioutes think japanese pop idol flipped with gloth horror movie aesthetic
Women wear 6 inch heels in order to appear taller. It is also a very sexy look. it still is a very dangerous and health threatening way to achieve those aims. Members of the British royal family achieve the same by wearing fascinators and large hats. Fashion is 99% a female driven industry. Think about what men wear. They wear uniforms. A suit a tie a shirt. A completely identical look. Being stylish is to project a look, wearing outfits that make you feel more confident. Andy’s look at first is very college clothes. It does not work in a professional environment. The clothes we wear project the image we have of ourselves. Do we want to be taken seriously? No matter how you feel about high fashion, it will always be true that a woman who dresses like a teenager will be laughed at behind her back with very good reason.
If sum stuck up broad told me I had no sense of fashion I’d tell her I’d still have money at the end of the end of the day. God I hate shopping with my mom.... ptsd
I don't mean to be rude but you sound like you're drunk when you speak and you mumble too which makes it hard to follow. Maybe focus on moving your mouth more when you speak and speaking a little louder with less vocal fry.

She's already made videos like that
@@chrystianaw8256 I referred to the fact that she already made videos like that. I asked for a continuation.
AMAZING VIDEO! MIND-BLOWING!!
Is that your natural tone of voice? Or is it more of a characterised voice
she did mention on Twitter that she raises her voice a bit higher in her videos bc someone criticized her for her actual voice in an older video
I raise the volume higher and project more so it's easier to understand, this is my natural voice other than that
@@CleverAndChic oh shoot i was talking about Tessa from Moderngurlz! i didn’t realize they were asking about you haha
