I don’t think electric cars are a wise purchase in Africa considering how unreliable and very expensive grid is in many countries, repair shops who can maintain or fix cars are non existents. Hybrids are better because you save alot of money one gas but don’t need to charge your car. The trade part still not good.
If you can charge your phone, you can charge your car. BEVs have almost no maintenance requirements, while Hybrids are much more complex animals with a lot more complex technology than even conventional ICE cars.

Imagine if those cars are thousands! Africa is not ready for electric cars my friend, there is no infrastructure for that. We will need powerful solar chargers to even think about it. Hybrids are Very reliable, small batteries and easy to fix if you know how to properly diagnose. Let’s say a hybrid battery (1 to 3KWh battery) fails compared to an EV 30 to 80KWh battery) the cost to replace the EV battery with be absolutely massive while you still can replace the hybrid battery at a reasonable price!

All these cars are going to have to be trashed due to reliability concerns because of horrible quality. Chinese brands are known for cheap low cost bikes and cars that are inferior quality.
The reality is you have very very poor and terrible customer service, you never give any indication of cost, nor do you answer any questions in the comments section.
