They're NOT number 1. Why do you exaggerate with these claims? We've been doing many types of farming for generations, we don't boast about it. Nigerians don't boast, neither do Kenyans, or Zimbabweans, South Africans etc. They just do it and those are our real African people.

Great business venture. There are actually three forms of capital in this industry: poultry, eggs, and the manure, possibly some countries might use the feathers. This man is doing very well and employing local workers. He has a very good piece of land, with plenty of room for expansion, down the road, especially since he is doing this for just two years. Bravo. Africans supporting themselves and growing their own countries.
Most successful somalis are less hesitant because we are self-taught instead of learning from books. Books make you hesitant because the dynamics is controlled; same age set and same experience levels. Go outside and you are bombarded and that is what you need to grab knowledge for resilience and success. If you cant eat shock from mistakes how can you even internalise something. Big up brother keep soldering and enjoy.
I am one of your subscribers since the days when you were in Garowe. I think you found the right niche for your youtube content and people love this sort of contents were you interview people who recently started businesses in Uganda and across africa( perhaps when your channel grows bigger). Just horn your interview skills, people usually shy away disclosing financial expenditure or returns of their businesses but if you are crafty enough you can gouge some useful info by asking general questions and perhaps we the audience can put the pieces together.. I think you have the potential to be the Wude Maya of the eastern block.. best luck
I'm an Englishman living in Mogadishu and always found that we had fantastic egg quality available in the UK which I really miss here in Somalia. Lots of the eggs here are American style and just taste like suffering. I'd love to buy high quality eggs here with big, rich yolks.
if you need organic eggs u can still get them ‘ if u usually go big supermarkets ask them organic eggs if they don’t have it ‘ u can get from the people who own the small businesses ‘ or outside of the city’ there is people who have chickens’ and their eggs is organic coz it’s free-ranges’ when i was in somalia i used to eat organic eggs everyday’ I don’t know how u couldn’t get it 😳😭

Horrible just horrible these are living beings locking them up in cages is simply torture to the chickens Africa has land and weather what justification is there for cages this is cruel i say this as a former chicken farmer in somalia who went from Europe. My chickens had land to roam bugs to chase and just basically be free cages should be outlawed
Somalia has a lot of land. Cage farming is not the way forward. It is a very cruel system that is now being phased out in Europe, which is why the cage manufacturers are moving into Africa.

Which city Somalia I like this business
It's actually Uganda.
Just curious, do the chickens ever get to "stretch their legs" or are they in the cages 24/7?
These are commercial layers, they’re engineered to lay eggs only and not to be physical. So they’re caged 24/7
Inhumane and unhealthy eggs or poultry production is slowly creeping into Africa.
