Great information..but am confused my Audi owners manual said to change the oil every 10k ..which ? is the right mileage you said 5k manual said 10k..thanks
They use the same engine with slight changes. The job on both is literally the same. No need to say "B8 and B8.5" when they can just say B8 where the B8.5 is pretty well assumed. This isn't like timing chains or the water pump where the job is different due to different tensioners or intake manifolds.
Im going to invest in a fluid extractor, no need to go below the car to remove the drain plug when the oil filter is on top the engine. Great video.
Fantastic video at slow pace...
1:06 wasnt expecting this fancy camera work wow wow nice
I like these DIY videos. Well done.
Wow another diy oil change video. Thanks I almost forgot where you put the oil 😁.
Good job bubba
I think the capacity is wrong. Per my owners manual, its 4.9 Qts.
(Also dipsticks are available aftermarket)
I was always told that cross threads are the strongest threads 😂🤣
S-line is just a cosmetic trim level (bumpers, lights, etc.)
Really nice video! Thanks a lot!👍
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching
It's worth mentioning that a capable scan tool is needed to reset the service light.
the service light can be reset in the mmi system. i dont think theres a need for a scan tool.
@@arminr3020 No I don't think it can, needs to be reset via VCDS.
VCDS or OBD11 should be enough to wipe that light

I would change it around 5-7k. Will definitely make your engine last longer/fewer issues, great insurance!
I think I'm going to cut an access port into my belly pan so that I don't have to take it off every time I change the oil.
How to change cylinder cdnc or oil transmission ngu
B8.5
Do you have a link to the 11 screws? Thanks

Hi Ben, those are the following: www.fcpeuro.com/products/vw-bolt-genuine-vw-n90967502
I’m buying a used Audi A4 2.0 T and it’s got 154000 km on the clock. Is it a good buy?
It depends which model variation you're looking at I have a B8.5 A4
Depends what the price is.
that’s not even a B8. that’s a B8.5. I mean is it seriously that hard to get the generation right?
B8 & B8.5 is literally the same car besides a front clip change.

He says "B eight and a half" in the video.
