It is some of the best coffee we've ever had. We both used to work in coffee and Doi Chang impressed us a lot!

The White Temple looked so different from when I was last there - about 10,000 less people. Whilst being sad to see the country with so few tourists, it must be an amazing experience right now
We're definitely lucky to see this stuff without so many people, but it is indeed a bit sad. Here's hoping things return to normal soon!

A trip to SE Asia is never complete without a Club Sandwich, they are incredible must haves!
Thailand is one of the great culinary places of the world, we've learned! Good food on every corner 😄 The club sandwiches were a nice taste of home!
As Thai , when Thai travels in the Northern part, we usually find the homestay or guest houses on the mountains for stay because the most highlighted destinations in north is mountains. There are many villages on the mountains which I can recommend you to go and stay for a night to face with the spectacular mountain atmosphere in the morning. For example, Maekampong village in Chiang mai . It is one of the beautiful place to visit, especially in the morning to see the sea of mist . In this village, there are many things to travel too such as water fall, nice and cozy local shops , and beautiful nature.

This is wonderful advice, and it is something we will do when we visit Northern Thailand again.
What a beautiful temple and view! Although I shouldn't laugh, it is kind of funny how often you two bite into a steamed food item not expecting it to be hot on the inside.

Amazing you both, you picked the right time and season. Prior to covid, thais would drive up north to chill ourself and family. Restarant and hotel even parks will jam pack. Luckily, you are there during covid so you have got the best out of it....
We are very lucky to be in some of these places with no other people around. But, hopefully visitors come back to Thailand. It is a good place to experience 😊
The scenery from Doi Chang was so good so that I ask myself why I never planned a Chiang Rai trip, lol. Great vlog as usual : )
I took a bus to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai in 2010 and I think it took 3 hours and was super curvy mountain roads

that temple is beautiful in its own way
good call on stopping , a mushy front brake basicly means that the brakefluid is cooking and a little further you wouldve had to rely on the rear brake only
its a reason why shifting bikes are better in the mountans , you can downshift and get youre hand of the gas , the engine will brake the bike down the slopes , you dont have to use the brakes so mush

I was involved with refurbishment of their first coffee roaster. The old red one (GW Barth of Germany) if you went to that building. The coffee is pure Arabica. I was involved with the founder the late Wicha (Richard). The logo was the village head man.
