Since there are already TONS of reactors who are already fans and familiar to the original cartoon show, who will react to this. Maybe you can be the rare few to offer, as a new viewer who is not familiar to the original cartoon, to react to this Netflix adaptation with least expectation and bias to judge it on its own... Then you can react to the original show, that would be interesting to see.
@@LowkeyGeek- Because of the movie (that doesn’t exist in Ba Sing Se), name pronunciations are incredibly important to the A:tLA fanbase. I saw another commenter say you should watch the Netflix live action and then the OG animated series. That sounds like a great idea. After all that, you should watch the horrific movie (you’ll get a lot of sympathy) and then you can rewatch the Netflix show with all the understanding you’ve gained, perhaps?
@@poogie_ I like that idea of FINALLY watching the live action movie...may make it into a special stream or watchalong LOL Thanks for the suggestions! Really appreciate it!
you are not experiencing 1% of the excitement the normal fans are feeling. I would recommend watching the animated show before this. unless you understand the lore behind this show, there is no point watching the live action because you will see it as just another netflix show.
I totally appreciate the suggestion but I feel that you're expecting the Netflix show to cater only to a certain audience. However like One Piece, I feel like it at the very least should cater to somebody like myself who has no connections to the original source material and get me interested given that I'm learning about the characters and lore for the very first time. If it hooks me, then it would make me go into watching the animated show in one way and if it doesn't, then I can see why the animated show has been soo beloved by the audience.
@@LowkeyGeek I'm not saying that it caters certain audience. I did not watch one piece anime, but I loved the show. my friend who watched the anime is excited on another level because as a fan of OG, him seeing his beloved anime getting recognition is just sense of love and excitement. Regardless, I was suggesting you a deeper experience of the lore, but if you want to see it through this show, I'll still say that's good

Gordon Cormier sounds exactly like the voice actor of Aang, not only that, they pronounced his name correctly this time!!!!

That really does sound like a great idea and I appreciate the suggestion! I'll do just that!
Hell of an idea. I love watching people get the first time experience of the cartoon.
@@illthedabgod Definitely stay tuned because that's the plan! :)
AW - puh is how you pronounce the bison. Great reaction!!
Ahh...I thought I was close! LOL
Appreciate you watching! 😊

@@WanMemeTong I see what you mean. Let's see if watching the show will give me that same sense of enthusiasm to watch the animated show! :)
Animaded first
Ok, I don't know if I'll have time to do that before the live-action series drops but I'll see!
