Notes fall more easy from the fretboard. Look, it‘s simple physics: thicker strings carry heavier notes and therefore these notes will fall to the ground in shorter time periods, because the distance between strings and ground is so much shorter. Easy, isn’t it? Jimmy Hendrix knew that… 👀🤷♂️
I mean if you up-pick a palm muted power chord, it'd sound the same as if he down picked it. If you've tried that, you know it sounds a little different.
Kinda? There's this indescribable grit that Buster gets from chugging the 'wrong' way where his thinner strings in the power chord are being hit before the thickest. Ultimately it's mostly in his insane production, but I have no doubt that downpicking a power chord from the highest strings to lowest does something different to the norm
This guitar confuses me... the shape and knob positions would imply a left-handed guitar, I believe, but the tuning knobs are in the right-handed guitar position, and well, the strings are all upside-down... Nonetheless, pretty badass and metal to not give a f*** and play the guitar upside down 🤘
"Buster, being left-handed, learned to play on a right-handed guitar. Wanting to fret with his right hand and pick with the left (like lefties do), flipping the guitar over was the only option at the time, and the playing style stuck." 🙂
How do you change the transpose dial on the same track without it affecting the rest of the track? And a smashing song by the way! I've presaved the album.
Archetype: Odeholm, when?
It's called Nameless X
@@mana20 it's called Podfarm lol
@@rafaelsolorioRSAUDIO for real lol but it would still sell crazy
@@rafaelsolorioRSAUDIO Yeah
Riffs so heavy he smashed his finger nail in the process. Thall.
I love, how when I think that metal has reached it's limits, Buster and Calle always break the barrier.

It always blows my mind how he comes up with this stuff!

NDSP please collab with John Suhr on Suhr amps! Bella, Badger, Hedgehog and Hombre! Nobody ever modeled these 4 amps in software. Please be the first!

Albert King played his guitars strung upside down and randomly tuned as well. To the point where tabs for his music are basically approximations
Kris Roe from The Ataris plays the same way, essentially strung like you flipped a right-handed guitar the opposite way to play left handed
🔥🔥🔥

Sorry but what album are you referring to?

Wait, is this an unreleased HLB song?
Probably a song he wrote just for this
buster-sama what did u do too ur finger!? 🤕

00:45 riff is just plain nasty. Is he playing harmonics in the guitar at the same time pitch shifting is automated?
Correct
hes....hes playing it upside down...what kind of inhuman shit am i witnessing?
i feel like a huge portion of the tone is coming from the IR.
That's all tone, I'd say. All about that speaker+Mic combo
Need to change my pants now 😳
nakurw
Why do you play reverse strings?
You make yourself guitar playing harder and more dificult...
lame. i like thrown but this is too thall for me
Is this really music?
hell yeah
THALL 🔥
