- EXPLOSIVE moment Ukrainian troops blast Russian aircraft out the sky with handheld rocket launchers.
This incredible footage, released by the Ukrainian armed forces' 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade shows soldiers using the weapons to strike down moving air targets.
The attack is understood to have taken place outside of Bakhmut, but this is yet to be confirmed and verified.

The video is great. But, personally? I could do without the music and listen to what's actually happening on the battlefield (Ukraine isn't fighting a video game merely for for our "entertainment"). Apologies if that's "just me".

@@laknidubandara I did not see any smoke from a direct hit, The video ended right after the rockets were launched and the Ukrainian soldiers hid back in their bush, If you are referring to the second video clip, It is not of the same location nor is it of an aircraft only in the third video clip does it show an image of an aircraft on a computer so it has obviously been edited to fit the video creators narrative to make it appear that they did hit something when they did not. Have all 3 video clips been verified as to be connected to the soldiers firing the rockets? The soldiers who fired those rockets did not hit anything.

The Ukrainian army fired very well at the target, making Russia lose another modern free weapon 🇰🇭🇺🇦.

Shoulder launch SAM missile. Performed very well when the U.S supplied the Afghans to take down Russian Planes and choppers . Worked quite well in Syria too.

The military lesson of this war is that missiles are game-changer. If you have them, defending is much easier than attacking.
Aircraft, tanks, and ships are so vulnerable to missiles that they're becoming liabilities. The future belongs to whoever has the best missiles.
Missiles are a tool just like any other. They are no more special than tanks, ships, and aircraft. This war isn't the first introduction of missles to warfare. The next war is just as likely to use a different tool as it's 'game-changer' as you put it as it is to use missles. The tank has been with us for over 100 years and it's demise has been stated for just as long.
Strategy and tactics win wars, not missles, tanks, aircraft, ships, or missles.
This is why the A-10 isn't viable anymore. Any one capable of putting up a fight would smoke them by the dozen. That's why the US has put so much money into stealth. It's hard out there for a non-stealth plane. If you are high altitude, you can be seen by long range sams and air to air missiles. If you are low, private Pyle will start taking pot shots at you with man portable missiles.
Better hope that is incorrect as China and Russia are the only countries with hypersonic missles
@@user-dx6bv2pe1s Nah, I am not too worried about those. Russia has the Kinzhal but the cost to build is so prohibitive that will never be able to field them in numbers. China only has hypersonic glide vehicles, which don't offer much new over short ranged ballistic missiles.
These weapons are supposed to threaten our carrier fleet but I have no idea how you could target a moving ship with a Kinzal. The plasma sheath that is supposed to protect it from radar would also make it near impossible for it to use radar or IR guidance of it's own.
Given that hypersonic missiles can cost as much as 100 million each, you could field up to 100 standard missiles for the cost of one hypersonic. I'd rather have 50 JASSM missiles than one Kinzhal.
Anti tank and and anti aircraft missiles have been around since the World War 2, with both the missiles and defences against the missiles being in a constant race to improve ever since. Right now the countermeasures are at least as ascendant as they have ever been, with stealth aircraft and tanks armed with the Trophy antimissile system being almost invulnerable to missiles, especially man portable missiles. However the Russian equipment is using missile defences that would probably be considered substandard compared to top of the line western gear from 1972, never mind 2022, and as a result even the older missiles that Ukraine has mostly been employing are devastatingly effective.

Having been in the military, and knowing that whatever army you are in you are trained to be the best of the best, I would think that the sense of russi nationalism is at it's zenith in the case of a pilot.
