So mine that I bought on eBay used would not connect to each other despite having the exact same settings. I’m using mission planner and mavlink telemetry by the way. I connected each separately via the USB FTDI adapter supplied for the ground side. I noticed that the firmware version was different. One was 3.16 and the other was 3.57. I tried flashing firmware using the SIK radio setup in mission planner but it didn’t work. So I went to the RFD website and downloaded their configurator. It was actually easy to download and I was able to flash both successfully although the first attempt failed at updating the older version. It kindly asked me if I wanted to try again and the second time it worked! I had to point it to the location of the firmware, on my hard drive as it cannot flash over the website. On the rfd website there was two different firmware file types for 3.57, one was under the category of version 1 hardware and the other was under version 2 hardware for RFD 900X . My radios both looked identical and looked new, however i found that the configurator would not even allow me to see the newer version of the firmware that I had just flashed for one of the radios, when I tried to flash the second one. But once I downloaded the older version of the exact same firmware version for older hardware, it saw it and was able to flash it successfully on the second try as mentioned above. Once I did this, both were reset to default settings and connected very easily. Make sure you use the right com port and baud rate for mavlink, 57600. Cheers!

How can i manuali link the air unir pls help
Connect your air unit via USB to your GCS, then reset it to defaults. Alternatively, set the NET ID and if desired, the baud rate you would like to use for it. Then, repeat those same steps for the GCS telemetry radio you plug into USB after the air unit settings are saved and is disconnected from your GCS.
connection failed.
