I know why the lps vip collars are different! The first wave of plushies only had lps on their collars, in the game you could add as many pets as you wanted to your account and you could switch between pets, when hasbro released the second wave (with vip on their collar) there was a change made that only allowed one pet per acount, also some of these plushies included a second code that you could use ingame to get a smaller pet for your pet. (so technically two pets per account but the small pets didn't really do anything other than follow you around)
I vividly recall this because I actually wrote an angry letter to hasbro and I got an extremely unsatisfying and stiff reply

as for the lpsvip/lpso, i remember the games were pretty similar to those DS lps games or even like club penguin where you get to travel and stuff, and talk to other people (i think) and of course the plushie you got was your character. i guess the difference between the two was that lpso had some more activities & slightly better quality, but overall very similar. i think the reason there's two different lpsvip is just different series for plushes, cause i don't remember there being different lpsvip games
I believe you are correct! I have both LPSO and LPSVIP plushies and I remember using both for the LPSO game, so I'm pretty sure it was just two separate series of plushies to collect! They may have come with a 30 day membership trial, from what I recall, but I'm unsure if it was limited to LPSO VIP plushies or all of them. I'm honestly unsure because I was so young. The game itself was pretty similar to Webkinz, Pixie Hollow, and club penguin but was easier for younger children to understand I believe.
I'm so happy I still own all of my LPSO plushies, they are just too cute!

With the LPS VIPS I remember when you made an account and entered your code you could play 30 days and you could only stretch that time by buying more plushies and entering their codes and if you didn’t do that everything would be lost... now that I think about it that’s actually a very scummy sales tactic!😑

It was so long ago that I can barely remember, but I'm debating if VIP was truly an MMO because I NEVER saw anybody in any of the worlds.

LPSVIP I just remember hopping around as a bunny but i dont ever remember encountering anyone else

this video coming out today is such a coincidence!! i went to goodwill and found the VIP ladybug! it was the only one i had as a kid and i had gotten rid of it like 10 years ago and i found it today brand new with tags.

I remember VIP sorta! I believe??? it was more of a 3d MMO unlike LPSO which was more stylized and polished with 2d characters, and the multiplayer aspect of it was a lot smaller than LPSO with small, mostly barren rooms on a small window with almost nobody in them. I believe there was a few minigames as well. LPSO was a lot more fun, especially in the end of its life when everybody was given membership and we could do literally anything we wanted. The maps were a lot of fun too. Sadly, I believe they're both lost media at this point along with every other Webkinz wannabe fro the time with the death of Flash preventing any archived images or videos from being accessible on the Wayback. I do however, have a few screenshots taken on my DSI from LPSO. On the plushie side of things, I'm in love with the ornate details and fabrics used on both the VIPs and LPSO toys! I had a VIP german shepherd, mouse and an LPSO butterfly!
I never thought I was old but VIPs were definitely my time. My favorite VIPs weren't even in your haul! It was a very fun website too, kinda reminded me of club penguin in a way. Their necks loose stability very easy, many of mine had droopy head syndrome

The LPS VIPs with the regular blue LPS collar are the normal VIP plushies. The LPS VIPs with the special LPS VIP collars in various colours are 'special' since they were boxed single pets(similar to how the LPSOs were boxed). I think their codes may have been a bit different as well, however, I cannot remember if that is correct.
Also, if you plan on collecting all of the LPS plushies, there is another line of plushies from the same LPS era as the bobblehead plushies. There about 15 inches tall with large heads with a similar look to the figures. There is also another line of regular plushies released during the LPSO era as well. Other than that, your just missing a some from the other G2 lines.

I remember going to the computer and enjoying LpsVIP plus getting a Pink Cat and thought the name Velema. Idk but I still have the LPSO Golden Cat at 13:50 of the video and basically would stay up ALL NIGHT playing the entire and listening to Wake Me Up Inside cause all the cats or dogs idk would be black and white and that was fun...

the hair for some of the plush has dryer damage which is why it looks like that. when plush are put in the dryer, certain fabrics melt

My favorite LPS plushie is one you don't have. I had the penguin and also that panda with the Chinese designs. I donated them when I moved sadly. Wish I hadn't. I had to downsize my plushies.

Did the LPS VIPS by any chance come from Europe? Because from what I remember LPS VIPS at least here in Belgium and in the Netherlands and germany was more popular then LPSO.
Most kids in my friend group had LPS VIPS (I had the pink cat, yellow cat, silver cat, orange lop bunny, butterfly, deer and iguana as plushies and as pets on the site and later got the panda with its little companion as a compensation because an other kid got their hands on my login, I also later added the plushies of the LPS VIPS cat that you just showed, the mini plush of a pink cat that is supposed to accompany the panda, a small lilac LPS VIPS dog companion plush and both the LPSO cats you just showed but by the time I got any of those both LPS VIPS and LPSO where already shut down)
You had at least 3 (if not more) waves of LPS VIPS plushies that came out I think 5 to 8 plushies at a time and a few region exclusive plushies, after the last of those waves there where 2 waves of special LPS VIPS where you got 2 at once instead of one, the first wave where single plushies with a code for a normal sized pet with a small companion pet (the cat you showed is one of those, you can recognise them in 3 ways, 1 they are typically felted, 2 they have a blocky collar label/tag in a colour unique to each pet type instead of the uniform blue ones on the pets that came before and 3 while the regular plushies where loose on the shelf or in a bin this new wave and every wave after came with packaging). The second wave of the special plushies was the same as the first with the only difference being that the smaller companion was now also added in its plushie form
