I was a… strange child. With the fish that came with the playhouse that was forever trapped in that tank, I just really wanted it out. I tried so hard to get it out by trying to throw it (outside don’t worry) I probably tried other things I don’t remember. I never got it out lol
I have the chihuahua, the squirrel petriplets, the punkiest caterpillar, the fluffy tailed skunk and the eternally trapped fish. I'm surprised I never tried to remove it from its prison like I did with goldfish #10. The pig petriplets are so cute, I wish I had them.
OMG FINALLY SOMEONES TALKING ABT THE SONRICS PETS!!! I’ve been trying to find anything abt them since forever, I’m happy you’ve brought light to them! Hopefully more gets uncovered
I own some of them and I think i got them in like a deal package or something since i didn’t have to collect candy or tickets to get them like it normally was with sonrics toys. If my memory is correct I recall buying them at sam’s club (in mexico) and they also sold polly pocket toys in like the same style
Lps 44 is somewhat unique because yeah lps 297 is the same Mold but honestly the designs are so similar I personally like to look at them more as variants With that said I do believe diary bulldog deserved to be on the actual list but yeah super cool and unique!

Also you're right, they didn't use the 2286 and 2141 molds very much; from what I can tell they were each only used twice, the second times being in the Totally Talented blind bags (2776 and 2778) although that was around the time of the newer gen of LPS so their designs are... interesting lol
This brought back so many memories! I remember getting stickers and seeing commercials, but I would only get LPS for Christmas so I didn't get any exclusives.
when i was a child i would spend every cent i got on LPS and try to collect every one, but one day i didnt care to play with them anymore so i gave a BIG bag to my friend for their bday, i had no idea they would be rare one day, i had all of these and some of these were even my favs, i loved my triplet kittens so much, gosh wish i kept them.
These were my childhood, I had so many and played with them all the time, each one having their own story, sadly as I got older my mom donated them, I'm glad to relive my childhood
I loved LPS so much as a kid (pretty sure I started collecting them the first year they were out) and I had the kiwi! I would've had more mail order pets if I wasn't so young and actually kept my stickers lol. Half the stickers in the booklet I sent were taped on since I had to remove them from a surface or cut them out, but they accepted it! Still have her to this day :)
It's amazing to see in 2024 that many rare molds come back in new version at the stored. I already bought the chameleon, it's so detailed and I think it's one of the prettiest of the new ones . in 2024 from the rarest Lps We got another kiwi, rooster bull, chameleon, two of the bird triplets, the lion king monkey, and another one of the pinguin triplets

I wish I could buy the bull you use as your narrator character, he caught my eye and that's why I clicked (I'm a Highland Cow collector, not an LPS collector). But he seems too rare to get at a reasonable price. No wonder he's a European exclusive... he's totally a Scottish Highland and in the early 2010s not many people in the US knew about Highlands
Idk if it seems rare or because any laws but I really loved lps but here in italy we didn't even here the *"common one"* aren't the rarest...the one in shops were the actual mostly *pop looking one* when I meant its we get the one that like very bright and very pinkish-blue-yellow look more like the more pop looking one...idk how to explain but Italy doesn't like the *"common"* one... When I mean common one I mean by what's common in America/USA its like rare here. I don't know if it's because whatever reasons...

I forever hate myself for giving away my lps around 12(currently 24) and everyday I regret it. Luckily I kept a handful including the kiwi, platypus, skunk with a fuzzy tail, chameleon with color change spots on its back (from the vet set I think) and maybe 10 others aswell
Dunno how much the collie u first talked about on list is worth but at a friend's sleepover she knew I like lps so she gave me her old ones(two lps btw lol)and I got a brown and white pitbull and that collie and they are real🎉 Edit:bull terrier not pitbull
I have the kitten, puppy and piglet triplets as well as some individual ones like the purple fluffy-tail chinchilla (and the gold chinchilla), although I wish I had more of the triplets because ones like the ponies and the pandas look adorable~ I do kinda wish the rabbit triplets and the puppy triplets looked more distinct from each other, for a while as a kid even though I knew they were dogs it both bothered me that they looked like rabbits and occasionally made me question which set I actually had. I also have one of the bulldogs and maybe a handful of others on this list, I’d have to check my box again. Other rare LPS thing that isn’t a pet: I have a purple DS stylus with a flower pattern and two toppers, a purple and orange parrot and a blonde cat that sit on a purple flower, they go on just like a pencil topper. It also came with a felt cover for your DS although I’ve long since misplaced it and it wouldn’t fit my current DS anyway. A few months ago I felt like digging it up again but I had misplaced the actual stylus for a little bit, so I looked on eBay to see if anyone had the purple stylus (I knew I hadn’t lost it so I wasn’t intending to order a new one) and found out my specific purple one is very rare. I did not see the purple one anywhere, I saw every other color including the matching polar bear one that also had a cover. The only picture I found of the purple stylus was a Reddit post of someone asking about the LPS stylus’, no idea where they got their picture of the purple one. I did eventually find the purple stylus and now it is my primary stylus for my current DS c: Unfortunately little kid me fidgeted a lot and that included chewing on things, and apparently I found this stylus delicious so, the top half of it is completely missing its pattern and is covered in rough chew marks. Whoops lol
omg i remember these rare mail lps however i had no idea about the "mailing" part because in my country you just went to store once you completed the sticker sheet. The concept of sending a letter and getting a figure seems so cool tho
My daughters collected them, they are all grown up so I pulled them out, we have about 20 pounds of pets, and 30 pounds of houses parts and all sorts of stuff, 2 gallon size bags of the tillage treats, hats and other tiny items. But we have a few in packaging with the pets but different numbers or the numbers don’t match the pet. We have one dragon fly with the wings on backwards.
I went through a weird phase of getting rid of toys in like 8th grade and got rid of all my LPS, I regret it so so much. I had the Chihuahua and two of the collies!
I have the kitten triplets and the monkey triplets but they’re both in pretty bad shape sadly, the kitten triplets can be salvaged but I don’t think the monkey triplets can because they’re tails were ripped off
I have the no name bull terrier lost in my house somewhere, had it ever since I was a little Lps obsessed child, and I found out that I have the short hair cat that’s worth 190 dollars and I never knew, I’m only ten rn but I’m still collecting lps, and I always have.
I used to have Tripplets of the Pollar bears, dogs, hamsters & cats. I lost them / had to leave them behind when I moved... I also had glitter ones and that weird spider... Makes me so mad I lost such rare pets 😭

I love rewatching this after G7 came out and just seeing these one time used molds get new use, it's nice! I have the G7 bull and the G7 chameleon on my desk atm so it was funny listening to you talk about them(especially the bull) while the G7 versions stare into my soul-
I have a couple of these. Might have #58 have to check, #110, #465 and it's twin, the kitten triple set, #1341, and the pig triplets. I did the sticker pets too, still have some of the stickers too
I have the collie with the paw up, the orange cat without the paw up, one of the triplet dogs, two of the pig triplets, the glass eyed pug, the sad trapped fish, and thaaaaaaaaaaaaats it
I think it’s such a shame they never used the Heron again. It never even got a proper pet that didn’t have fluff coming out of its head. But there’s heaps of species of hero they could have recoloured it to look like

Basic fun seem to be deliberately picking these rare moulds. They skipped over the husky version 2 though and are using the old husky

Unfortunately little kid me fidgeted a lot and that included chewing on things, and apparently I found this stylus delicious so, the top half of it is completely missing its pattern and is covered in rough chew marks. Whoops lol
omg i remember these rare mail lps however i had no idea about the "mailing" part because in my country you just went to store once you completed the sticker sheet. The concept of sending a letter and getting a figure seems so cool tho

The new G7 toys have been using some of the triplet molds, such as the squirrel and penguin, as well as some of the mail order molds.
My daughters collected them, they are all grown up so I pulled them out, we have about 20 pounds of pets, and 30 pounds of houses parts and all sorts of stuff, 2 gallon size bags of the tillage treats, hats and other tiny items. But we have a few in packaging with the pets but different numbers or the numbers don’t match the pet. We have one dragon fly with the wings on backwards.
I went through a weird phase of getting rid of toys in like 8th grade and got rid of all my LPS, I regret it so so much. I had the Chihuahua and two of the collies!

I have the kitten triplets and the monkey triplets but they’re both in pretty bad shape sadly, the kitten triplets can be salvaged but I don’t think the monkey triplets can because they’re tails were ripped off
I have the no name bull terrier lost in my house somewhere, had it ever since I was a little Lps obsessed child, and I found out that I have the short hair cat that’s worth 190 dollars and I never knew, I’m only ten rn but I’m still collecting lps, and I always have.
I used to have Tripplets of the Pollar bears, dogs, hamsters & cats. I lost them / had to leave them behind when I moved... I also had glitter ones and that weird spider... Makes me so mad I lost such rare pets 😭

Man that's a lot of rare triplets- some of the triples molds were pretty cool I wish they would use them more

I love rewatching this after G7 came out and just seeing these one time used molds get new use, it's nice! I have the G7 bull and the G7 chameleon on my desk atm so it was funny listening to you talk about them(especially the bull) while the G7 versions stare into my soul-

I think it’s such a shame they never used the Heron again. It never even got a proper pet that didn’t have fluff coming out of its head. But there’s heaps of species of hero they could have recoloured it to look like
I...I never realized how many rare LPS molds I have. I've kept them for sentimental reasons and to pass them down to my kids.

the fluffy tailed skunk and the eternally trapped fish. I'm surprised I never tried to remove it from its prison like I did with goldfish #10. The pig petriplets are so cute, I wish I had them.
