Awesome awesome job Bondo its looking good and I like ur little helper love seeing ur buddy with u on the jobs u do and be safe and always be careful doing what u do each and every day
Hey Bondo, I am have a hard time finding the under foundation insulation and the rite tubing for the radiant heating. I am building a 30x40 steel shop and after watching your videos I think putting the insulation and heat tubing will be great. I plan on installing a outdoor wood boiler later. Thanks for you help and your videos are awesome.
Awesome. You can order the oxygen barrier tubing at supply house online. If your in the states. You won't regret doing the in floor heat. You can usually get the 2" polystyrene insulation at the big box stores.
Hopefully you have exact GPS coordinates for those post holes as well as laser alignment for your score lines so the owner knows EXACTLY where they are. Yes I’m joking.watched a previous video. Excellent work as always.
Hey Bondo, Your videos have been a huge help for a cabin ICF monopour perimeter foundation I did last year. I back filled the basement for the winter as the property isn't accessible in winter and I wanted the footing protected from the -40C winters we have here in central B.C. Canada. This spring I dug it out and I am getting ready to pour a basement.(this is a multi year project for myself...haha) One question I have is would you pour the edge of the slab up to the edge, or over/on top the edge of the footing? Thanks
Nice save Ron. I'm about ready to go here and wondering why Nudura blocks? How do they compare in price per square foot to Fox Blocks? Fox seems to have held pricing down during this pandemic BS.
Is that the maximum number of schutes you can use on the concrete truck or could you Install more had he brought more getting the concrete closer to the other side without the wheel barros
You will use about one square foot of pex per square foot of concrete floor. So 900sq feet will use around 900 feet of pipe. 3- 300' loops or 2 450' loops.
@@bondobuilt386 Thank you for the reply. I have one more dumb question I must ask. On the floors you poor for say your pole barns with foam do you do anything to repel mice from tunneling in and using all that foam for nests in years to come?
@@rufustoad1 we pour the concrete over the foam board. We cover the Nudura with a parge cement so I don't think they would go in there. Never had any problems with it from customers that we did years back.

That's another beautiful job. I'm very surprised that dog didn't get in the concrete we used to have them come from miles around just to get in it.👍
6’6” crawl space? Might as well just have a damn basement. Lol
We always bring 2 power trowels with us just for this reason. Looks good though. Always nice to have a backup power trowel on hand.
I always do too but we were like 2 miles from my house thank god. Lol 😂
Just watching your videos. Your prep work and attention to detail is spot on. Can’t wait for you guys to get out here to pour my floor.

Sounds like its gonna have a nice garage
Yes it's gonna be 32 x64 with heat in the floor. 👍
Nice place for what appears to be plastic in the fire 😂. 3:18. Not sure I would have video taped and put that up on UA-cam.
Great job

In my area a 'finished' house slab is one that's been floated after screeding, lol
LOL not for me its not. 🤣
Nice job they just replace the sidewalks in my town and at night when the Sunnis going down it literally looks like waves

I like the features of the Nudura and I am used to there system but I will be switching if they can't get the price back to something reasonable.

What would you have done if you couldn't get another machine? Hand trowel everything into the night?
why is there no vapor barrier between the insulation and themoisture
Concrete trucks should have Uber/Lyft level GPS tracking so you know exactly where they are.
I'm surprised you bring a back up trowel to every pour. How do you guys cure your slabs?
Throw a couple tires on the fire with the plastic to help it burn better!!
Just curious about the hog wire on the bottom. Doesn't that defeat its purpose other than for locating the radiant tubing? Love your stuff though!
I think I asked you before, have you tried spider ties instead of ICF ? They look to be a cheaper option in my opinion
I have never tried them but they do look like a good product. I checked them out online 👍
Is a heated floor in a crawl space common around you?
Got brave today poured 2 an 1/2 yards today in the chicken coupe. Could of used you guys today. Came out good for a bunch of amateurs
Ed nice 👍 Gotta start somewhere. LOL

3 o 4 depending
Hi Bondo
What is the cost of Nudura blocks per sq ft.
Are the ICF similar between the brands?
Cheers from Oz
How did Biscuit get his nickname?
That intro tho LMAO
Can you tell me how to figure how much pex is needed for a 900sqft pad? Do you have a formula you use to calculate this?
You will use about one square foot of pex per square foot of concrete floor. So 900sq feet will use around 900 feet of pipe. 3- 300' loops or 2 450' loops.
