You should have gotten the caps that go on those bro. I had those on an old case mode like this I did years ago. Keeps dust and moisture out when not in use. Great video! I been thinking of getting the SRT as well.
Travis great video. I ran a second set of XLR's through the case. I connected them to the back of the mixer "the booth" connection. I run my sub(s) through that connection. This way i can turn up or down the bass without having to go to the sub it self.
@@DjTravisNey yes sir. I put a 90 degree 1/4 inch cable to xlr to connect to the piece that goes through the wall. just like yours. The booth knob i use to control the loudness of my sub. Here is my email i'll send you a picture of how it looks. fernentertainment2014@gmail.com
Great video, question is the xlr adapter male to female??? Can u plug another xlr to the adapter without having to splice it and solder it and it will work?
I’m sure those connectors are male not female? Also it’s best to use a hand screwdriver for screws that small. Using a power driver can easily overtighten and loose the grip. Great video
I do not recall off hand what size I used for my mod, but keep in mind the screw needs to go through the wood and foam. So it needs to be longer than you think. I used a bolt and nut combo, so I needed a good 1/4 inch to come through on the other side.
dj's used to do that in the 1980's, plus they also put a electric cord outlet on their coffins
Thanks! The loopback with the cord helped me alot . The adaptor isn't low profile so. that helped me figure out the spacing issue.
good stuff! I would have bought the black XLR ports to seamlessly blend with black case.
Hey Travis, what case were you using for the SX please dude? I cannot seem to find one deep enough with a 1U or 2U beneath. Thanks
Nice mod ... I wish they would just make these holes standard on all cases.
Same. It only like 6in away from the controller’s xlr but it makes a world of a difference being on the outside

just ordered a few. thanks for the tip

Very interesting. So you control the sub with the booth out knob and your speakers are just connected to the master outs of the mixer?

WO Realtor the link in the description will take you to the one I bought on amazon and yes, no soldering required. It’s plug and play
If you watch the end of the video you’ll see me trying it
Thank u for replying so quick. I can’t wait to do this to my case.

thanks for the link for the case. In Russia it costs as hell )))
Great job with the case. what size screws did you use to screw in the Neutrik XLR plugs on the outside of your case ?

Good job very clean
Thanks fam
I got the same case. You will regret it lol. The black trim scratches way way way too easy and then starts lookin like 💩.
