The game feels like a early access release with the amount of bugs and glitches, and they just keep introducing more with every update. Imagine the experience of someone trying the game for the first time, running into a dungeon, and finding that all the enemies are either weaponless or completely unable to attack.
I gave up. +10k hrs the core issues are not beeing fixed. So goodbye funcom.The shop mechanics with the fixed amounts etc... Its just disgusting! People who come up with such tactics should thrown off a building.And yes you are absolutely right, they hate the pvp community.The sooner they can get rid of official pvp the better for them.
I'm sure you, like me get the itch to play it but then your brain saves you by reminding you of what Conan Exiles has become. Shame, it had so much potential.

seems that in the survey directly saying that i stopped playing because of battle pass, that i got all the DLCs before the pass but didnt spent a penny and havent played since helped ? :D still not gona return because since then better games released
I literally had the biggest rage and rant moment in Age of Heroes. No more season pass because they're too lazy and too greedy to have something that gives people a reason to play. Almost a whole DECADE with no new content, no new bug fixes, no actual reason to give players the drive to play their game. Oh of course they have PC to rely on to fill their pockets, but that's only because modders add new content FOR them. This game went from my favorite survival title, to a lazy, boring, half assed and pointless cash grab, laden with developer lies, disappointment after disappointment, and to top it all off, the only new map expansion was literally just the same recycled content put into a smaller area. FunCom are actual losers for this shit. I cant wait until they realize that their servers are gonna have to shut down because they spent too much time filling their own pockets rather than improving their damn game.
For me is kind of tragicomic also how some ppl in Funcom Forum try to defend the company and all these wrong choices, also in a aggressive way. Like love it or leave it, kind of digital fascism for sure. Have a functioning brain actually seem to be a luxury for a lot of person's. Don't want to comment also other streamers, bc c'mon guys, i understand you get money from some supporters, but still, try to enhance this bunch of crap in any case just fall inside the so called A**Li**ing. I don"t know what you are doing for living, Maz, but surely you should consider a career as journalist. You will be a good one, pretty rare also actually.
Maz, you know the worse thing about killing PVP. I was NEVER a pvp player, or a single thing anywhere ever. I was ALWAYS a single player and I have been gaming since the late 80's. I flirted with PVP during the q2 days, but it wasn't for me. So, how did I end up sinking 3k hours in to PVP in Conan? Easy. The Single player experience is garbage. One you get somewhere around L40+ practically nothing in the game can stop you. For fun one day I did demon vault on my first playthrough of siptah (in PVP) with an iron sword. I ended up running out of durability so I finished the vault with a pickaxe and a bit of archery. It was one of the few times I felt like I would not cream a dungeon or vault without trying. the base game is boring as batshit. Empty structures everywhere, you no longer even need to worry about the purge hitting you before you are ready, so the race against the clock is gone. The old purge was at least almost fun in the right circumstances. My first purge in the game was cultists and the only t3 I had were the doors. I lost EVERYTHING except a few benches and foundations. Exhilarating! Now, the only way for the game to push back is to go PVP where defendable bases are deleted, undermesh bases remain for months or years an people use cheat reports as tactical nukes. I could 'just' hold my own as a solo, but it was heartbreaking to have bugs and cheats be my undoing, that and having everyone on the server deleted besides myself and some sub L20 first timers. Server transfers actually made life fun for a while, cross server wars, resource servers, combat servers, even god tokens being transferred was something you could work against or with. But server transfers went as well... then for me, conan just dried up. Nothing to fight in game except other people and they all got banned or the server transfer locked them up elsewhere.
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. This is the reason I still make these videos discussing this. The ongoing issues still persist and just seem to get worse. I played religiously on one official server. It would thrive for a time and then a new exploit, new cheats, tactical nukes (as you said) would be used and it would die. After some time the server would begin to thrive again just for the process to repeat. The devs are more than aware of these issues and the continued ignorance of them and turning of a blind eye to it has gone on far too long.
We need more streamers like you.

There are still day one bugs. All about the money.
