@@AloneAdventures from watching the video the key seems to be to get two decently thick trees the right distance apart and then it's pretty straightforward. I've never used a tarp or put one up either. I wasn't even sure if this one came with the straps. I'll have to get to a local woods this week to give mine a try.
Yeah I realised the trees need to be a good distance apart. But throw the straps round clip it on everything you need is in the bag. Let me know how you get with it!
Bought the same at the same price. You did a good job mate. Trick with a hammock is lay at 45 degrees to the hammock, not straight on with it else your spine does a banana. Try it, you'll see the difference 👍
I bought one of these a few months back amd think it's great, considering the price. Nice video. I've used it a few times in some of my videos. I've subscribed too
Thanks for the sub I have dropped you one too. For the money you can’t complain I chuck it in the backpack when out for the day ideal to throw up and relax for a while.
Needs to be a bit wider and not as high. Invest in a ridge line between the two carabiner at a length 87% of the hammock. Then if you pull your hammock as tight as you can it will always be at the correct angle.
The price can also go lower if it’s the end of the season and they are trying to get rid of them 😊 thanks for watching and dropping a comment. Where abouts in the states are you watching from?
each end should be the same height, and they were way to close meaning it was more like a banana than a hammock, good find though and we all have to learn somewhere ;)
I just bought one of these as well! Figured you couldn't go wrong for £7.99!
Defiantly can’t go wrong for that price even if you on get 12 months use out of it!

Absolute bargain hope you enjoy it 👍
@@AloneAdventures I'm thinking of buying another putting fabsil on it and converting it to make a tarp ?
Suppose you could give it a go for £3.99 might have to put som guy line on it to open it out?
@@AloneAdventures yeah absolutely got plenty of paracord
Let me know how you get on if you try it as a tarp 👍

Thanks will defiantly keep this in mind for next time hopefully next video I do I can get it set up correctly 👍
That's a really useful trick to know. Cheers!
Hammocks really are what you add to them like tarp over the top etc
Definitely add a few things perfect for an overnight camp in the woods
For price its got be worth a try
Defiantly 👍
It goes for $14.99 in the US. I love the UK price.

Just bought in Ohio for $12.99 us
