It's a wild scene, the Japanese rock and metal scene and so refreshing in many ways. We don't get at all what they sing about but it doesn't matter. We enjoy it anyway. Btw, some Gacharic lyrics are rather deep; Replica or Kachi Kachi-Yama. They found gold with Angie 1/3 (vocals)
😁😁😁😁😁 The original drummer for this band was Hana (now the blue-haired second guitarist). And the current drummer is Yuri. When the MV was being filmed, Yuri was on maternity leave, so Hana played the drums. But even now, Hana sometimes takes over as the drummer. In the videos I've recommended, there are a few songs where the two of them play drums together.
Now you have heard the main bands of the members of Doll$Boxx. The vocalist, Fuki, of Unlucky Morpheus and the core four of Gacharic Spin - Hana (drums in the video), Koga (bass), Tomo-zo (guitar) and Reona (keyboards).
These chicks are straight aces :) Gacharic Spin have been in the business for QUITE a few years already by now (most of them are somewhere in their 30s with the notable exception of vocalist Angie who they hired a few years ago at 17 years old. I think she's something around 20 now). The reason you can see Hana (with the blue hair) playing drums in the music video but guitar in the live version is that she used to be their drummer but moved to second guitar some time ago. Their new drummer Yuri (which you can see drumming in the live version) was on maternity leave while the videos for the album were shot which is why Hana moved back to drums for some of those and I think she also recorded the drum-tracks for the album). They even have done songs live where both of them played drums. My absolute favourite song by them (please check it out!) is "I Wish I".

Gacharic Spin are amazing. Yet another Japanese band that just makes jaws drop. Band after band that just make you go "WTF did I just listen to?" Angie (Pink hair/black wig): vocals. A really strong voice. Hana: vocals, also moves between guitar and drums as needed. Kickass drummers who can also shred a guitar are not common. Tomo-zo: guitar, vocals. Oreo: keyboards, vocals. Koga: bass, very occasional vocals. She's the leader. Yuri (not in this video): drums, vocals. The instruments they smashed were already scrap, but they still felt bad about wrecking them. No functioning instruments were harmed in the making of this MV. There's also a making-of video which is worth a watch.
They can be much wilder, actually a tame song, I can always listen to the band, you feel like you're in a musical, everything except musicians, they can do anything they think up
Angie 1/3 (pink hair) was brought into the band in 2019. It's said to be the first song where Angie really asserted herself and was given the go from Hana to do and sing as she saw fit - the result a masterpiece of storytelling vocal performance.(Not to dismiss Tomo-Zo's and Hana's composition and arrangement skills and all the rest...) Next stop: I Wish I (official live from Toyosu PIT is the most impressive one in my opinion) or Next Stage (live from 2019, 10th anniversary)

GS isn´t only "happiness on steroids", also is like 3 or 4 bands in one. From time to time, GS make a song where the main guitar: Tomo-Zo is the singer, and their songs are... different. Also from time to time, songs where the keyboard Oreo is the singer and also are of course different. With the new drummer Yuri, even from time to time, you have songs with two drummers on stage. And yes, they are crazy, all of them except Tomo-Zo. She is from another planet.

How do they put their tracks together? As I understand it, someone brings in music they've composed (in this case, it was Tomo-zo, the shorter guitarist) and the rest chip in with ideas. In the early days it was Hana, the ex-drummer now guitarist, who was essentially the musical director. The lyrics, I'm not sure, but pink-haired Angie (the youngest by a decade) now writes a lot, including this one. From time to time they do videos detailing how each song came together, which are fascinating -- yes, there are disagreements!

MV と LIVE ではドラマーが異なるのは 新ドラマーの YURIが叩いていて、ドラムヴォーカルの 佐野はなが ギターヴォーカルにコンバートしているからです。 The reason why the drummers in the MV and LIVE are different is because the new drummer YURI is playing the drums, and the drum vocalist Hana Sano has been converted to guitar vocals.
Yuri has had a baby when they release the MV, then after sometime she return to the band. And Hana was really the drummer, but as a multiinstruentist she decided to go to guitar and be free from the set to move and sing better (not that she wasn't a good singer behind the kit.).

MV と LIVE ではドラマーが異なるのは 新ドラマーの YURIが叩いていて、ドラムヴォーカルの 佐野はなが ギターヴォーカルにコンバートしているからです。 The reason why the drummers in the MV and LIVE are different is because the new drummer YURI is playing the drums, and the drum vocalist Hana Sano has been converted to guitar vocals.
Yuri has had a baby when they release the MV, then after sometime she return to the band. And Hana was really the drummer, but as a multiinstruentist she decided to go to guitar and be free from the set to move and sing better (not that she wasn't a good singer behind the kit.).

Thought you'd enjoy that ! 🤣 . BTW did you notice the difference in line up between the MV and the " Live " - Hana ( who played drums in the MV ) played guitar in the Live and Yuri , who joined in 2019 was playing drums .
In some ways it's a pity you chose a " Lockdown " Live gig - which for them was a bit subdued asthey are seriously crazy when there's a live audience in front of them .
