A side project band, combing members of 2 other bands.. The musicians from Gacharic Spin (F Chopper Koga - bass, Hana - Drums/ backing vocals, Tomo-zo - guitar, and Oreo Reona - keyboards/ backing vocals),
plus vocalist Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus.
Formed in 2012 when original Gacharic Spin vocalist Armmy went on hiatus for medical reasons(later passed away), F Chopper Koga didn't want to cancel tour dates already scheduled. Fuki was with Lightbringer at the time, and that band went on break, so they formed this band , different from their main bands.
If you want to check out those other 2 bands, suggest "Mindset" from Gacharic Spin" and "Black Pentagram" from Unlucky Morpheus.

Your facial reactions said it all. I think most of us had the exact same reaction when we first saw this video... "WTF did I just watch" with a huge smile on our faces. These women are brilliant.

The drummer Hana now plays guitar and do the vocal mainly in Gacharic Spin. My favorite live performance of them is Dragonet from same concert not because Hana's drum solo but Oreo's backing chorus.

As other's have suggested, Gacharic Spin - I Wish I mv + live" & "Gacharic Spin - Mindset mv + live" are a great starting place for Gacharic Spin.
Try and get accustomed to Hana's face (drumming in these performances) because you wont be able to recognise her based on her place in the band as it's going to be drummer sometimes, guitarist other times, backup screamer other times, backup singer other times, lead singer sometimes. She's kind of intimidating. She used to be an idol, in a previous band she was also the drummer, in another she was the guitarist, in another she was the bassist, and she can play loads of other instruments as well.
F. Choppa Koga on bass (I believe Chopping is the Japanese term for slapping the bass) will be just destroying her instrument in most performances. They are quite a bass heavy band. She was at school with Hana and also has released slap bass instructional dvds.
Tomo-zo the guitarist has some strange inability to stop smiling. Even in some of their more sombre songs, and even in the mvs for the more serious songs, she is still smilingat ALL times! It's adorable. She is also a bit under used as she can really really play. According to her she is an alien from the planet Nicolin. She sometimes throws the crowd sweets from inside her guitar.
Oreo on the keyboards. At some points she has also been the lead singer. Watch out for random high kicks. As someone else mentioned she is sometimes dressed as a burger.
At various points the band also had dancers.
Some performances have 2 drummers at once.
They have done a song entirely on toy instruments.
Of all the bands on your list, Gacharic Spin is the one where it's hardest to predict what they are gong to get up to next.

These ladies can't be called kawaii... The singer is Fuki (ghost in Japanese), the most sought-after metal singer, she sings in several bands at once. She never studied anywhere, as her mother taught her to sing in childhood, that's how she sings. The drummer with blue hair is Hanna, she is a multi-instrumentalist (plays drums, guitar, bass, saxophone and much more, also a singer and screamer) - she is the lead singer and guitarist of Gachariс Spin. All Western reactors want to marry Hanna :))

There is SO much to unpick with Doll$boxx - probably the best " side project " on the planet . This song comes from their debut album ( in 2012 ) - " Dolls Apartment " . Others have commented on the line up - I'd just say that these are some of the best musicians in Japan ( inc Fuki ) F Chopper Coga is one of the best slap bassists I've heard anywhere . Hana ( on drums in this ) is a vocalist and multi instrumentalist . Oreo - brilliant multi genre keyboard player . Tomo-zo an extremely innovative guitarist . Fuki a superb vocalist - what's not to like .

The good news is that they are about to do a double tour very soon - Gacharic Spin & Doll$boxx which should be one of the music highlights of the year in Japan ( and that's saying something ! )

Ah, such good memories. I was fortunate enough to be just discovering Japanese rock music right when Doll$Boxx was starting their project, so I got to see their entire series of videos in order as they debuted on UA-cam, and it was epic! Now here I am, over a decade later, and a dedicated Maidiac, that loves the Japanese rock in most of it's forms. (Visual Kei is still a bit much for my taste. lol)

Doll$Boxx is one of my favorite bands, objectively they are as good as Band-Maid or Nemophila (in fact they are very good friends with Nemophila).
I recommend any song from this same 2018 gig, simply brilliant.
Doll$Boxx has been in a hiatus since 2018, this is because the band is actually a sideproject of Fuki, the vocalist of Unlucky Morpheus and Hana, Koga, Tomo-Zo and Oreo Reona, respectively the drummer, bassist, guitarist and keyboard player of the band Gacharic Spin... they are both two of the best bands in Japan and sound very different from Doll$Boxx. 👍

Doll$box is a Gacharic Spin side project. Hanna the drummer can play just about any instrument, all of them can sing. Tomo-zo the guitarist is just the nicest person ever, and loves metal. Koga the bass player is a machine, Oreo the keyboardist is a nutcase and once wore a hamburger suit for 3 months to remind her she was getting too fat. Fuki the singer is the singer with unlucky Morpheus. The current line up has Hanna switching to rhythm guitar, Yuri on drums and Angela on vocals. I would recommend "I wish I" and 'mindset'. You have to bear in mind though that Gacharic Spin have no genre, they will mix all sorts of music together and they are famous for thier live shows. I think we are about caught up, though you might want to look up the story of their first singer, it's very sad..

Great idea to do thoose double reactions. Together with Lovebites my favourite band so, order both their album and ep as well as the 2 dvd's. When they recorded this live they did a live recording with Gacharic Spin as well, so buy that dvd too and yep, the same day. Keep it up.

The guitarist here is Tomo-Zo, the lead guitarist of Gachariс Spin, who is friends with Marty Friedman and often uses gadgets to create strange sounds.

DOLL$BOXX is a band with an all star at every position. the band itself is GACHARIC SPIN -another all female japanese band and they added vocalist fuyuki tenge - known as fuki - to make the project band DOLL$BOXX. they did this cd - doll's apartment - in 2012 and the collaborated a 2nd time in 2018 with 'high spec high return '. they did mv's for every song off of both cd's - how many bands have ever done that ? none that i know of. i think 16 in all. they are highly skilled musicians and GACHARIC SPIN was formed in 2009 so they are 15 years in now !

Love your reactions. Isn't this just pure joy? The Japanese scene is wide and ever-expanding with interesting sounds, chord progressions and delightful music. I discovered this some 8 years ago and has more or less stopped listening to "western" output finding it un-inventive if not outright boring.
Vocals come from everywhere, all of them can sing though the mains are carried by Fuki, Hana (dr) and Oreo (keys) and to a lesser degree Tomo-zo (g).
Speaking of Hana, she multi-disciplinary in a rare way doing any instrument; drums, guitar, bass, home appliances, aerophone etc all while singing - as heard here - growling. All more or less to perfection.

This was so interesting man and it's so nice for the ears to listen to these bands that I would not normally find maybe on my own.
I prefer Loud Twin Stars or Fragrance from this group because Hana is hardly playing those drums in this cut. She's the show, in my book. Love this group to death. One of my favorite Japanese bands, along with Band Maid, One Ok Rock, Wagakki and Hanabie.

In my deep dive into Japanese music over the last 5 years, there are three women that I now consider to be generational musical talents - Kanami of Band-Maid, Miyako of Lovebites, and Hana of Gacharic Spin/Doll$Boxx. Hana could be the lead vocalist of a band with her beautiful clean vocals, along with her ability with harsh vocals. She is also a great drummer, guitarist and bassist (although not Koga level on bass). She is, as I have often stated in comments, the Dave Grohl of Japan.
These bands are freaking awesome man, I’m so glad I got to go down this path for this time to listen this awesome music. The versatility level of these musicians is incredible.

The "to be continued" at the end of the music video refers to the next music video from the 'Dolls Apartment' album.
They made music videos for all the songs on that album, as well as for the songs on the EP 'High $pec'.
The first two songs (and music videos) on 'Dolls Apartment' were 'Loud Twin Stars' and 'Merrily High Go Round'.
Followed by 'Take My Chance', 'monopoly', etc.
