One trick I use to open the trunk lid after pressing the trunk button is to open and then close one of the doors. The pressure from within the vehicle will push the trunk lid up enough so you're not digging your fingers into that small crevice trying to lift it up. Obviously, this works only if the windows are up on both doors.
Haha yes this is what I usually do! I’m hoping some new struts at least help the problem

I thought all the Z's were like this....I also close the door with the windows up to open the trunk.
Look for a can of AC Delco Super Lube. You can lube the struts and rods and it should raise the trunk lid higher when you hit the trunk release.

Ecklers has good HD outer tie rods, moog good for most of the rest
My guy, love the c5 but could you please do a strictly c5 video I guess like review/ walk around/ pov drive or something. Every video I try to watch to get good looks at it just isnt long enough, would love to see more of it.

I've got an 04 LeMans edition convertible. So far I've replaced the HUD. The water pump. The harmonic balancer. And the oil pressure gauge. Wondering what's going to happen next. But I still love this thing.
Very nice sir! The bezel around my HUD is cracked and I am not looking forward to replacing that. The whole dash has to come out from my understanding?

No on the ECBM and I believe the previous owner did the LMC5
Hey bro, just reaching out to the c5 UA-cam community. I have a new product being developed and designed, and wanted to know if it's something you guys would be into. It's a c5 Corvette digital speedometer gauge cluster. As of right now, I'm only trying to achieve two different cluster displays designs. an aggressive front having a almost identical layout to the c8 and then a traditional layout... still working on designs. But would retail anywhere from
700-800 USD im trying to get prices cut down but as of right now that's where l'm at in price. I'm a small company right now just trying to see how my product will do. And if I have the c5 UA-cam community along side it, we'll hopefully will grow and make more products to you guys that will modernize the car. Have many plans going forward and are hoping the UA-cam community will help me go forward with it.
I have absolutely no knowledge of Corvettes but one of my co-workers bought a brand new 2000 something model. He said that the floorboard is made of balsa wood sandwiched between metal. True or false?
