I have a 322 and couldn't fault it, done a lot of work now with no problem atall.. it's always good to be able to fit a bucket backwards , Im not sure that would be possible with that hitch
I have an E55, great machine. I wish Bobcat had a standard way to pin back the Thumb attachments if you release the hydrualics and want to run something else. Looks like I will have to weld some sort of chain sling in order to pin it back.
KarasCyborg we welded a tab on the boom and a tab on the thumb and just use a big bolt. Works well and easy to do. But I agree, sucks welding on a brand new machine. Plus there’s no loops to store u used hydraulic hoses from thumb and extendable boom when using auger or rotating claws. One more thing we had to weld on. The old 430 we had had it. Other than that the e55 is awesome
Do not repeat my mistake. I realised too late that there is other brands making a lot better mashines then Bobcat. I bought three Bobcat skidloaders and four Bobcat mini excavators and all of them have problems.

I don't have a problem with a manufacturer specifically comparing their machines to other manufacturers machines, after all it's a competitive business. But at least be honest...I can swap the buckets in my John Deere mini in about a minute with nothing but a crescent wrench .
I'd like to see more comparisons involving GEHL, Wacker Nueson, yanmar, takeuchi, JCB, Hitachi, Kobelco, Komatsu. With just 3 other machines to compare to. Makes me think BOBCAT can't compare to the others.
Thanks for your comment! We appreciate the feedback. As it stands now, machines featured in Advantage videos are top Bobcat competitors (based on market share) for each product category.
Bobcat Company - Still a pretty poor comparison if NOT ALL machines in the same weight class are not included. If Volvo, Wacker Neuson, GEHL, Takeuchi, and the rest aren't involved, how can ANY comparison be fair or done right?
There is no way a bobcat could match the service life or precision and speed of a cat unit. I’ve owned both and bobcat suffers in too many areas but the biggest failure in bobcat in the past few years has been service. They score absolutely bottom level
x change system is terrible, you cant turn the bucket around backwards. you talk about versatility, yet Bobcat lacks the most basic feature that all the other manufactures have.
I just bought a bobcat E85 excavator and for any other way to get the buckets on got to open up the checkbook I got there pinned buckets that come factory it takes 45 minutes to change it because you got to pull the pins out

But this presentation really was untasteful and does the bobcat a disservice

It sounds like maybe bobcat has gotten better since Dusan bought them out.
I wonder if they still lack the feature called "dig to blade".
In india bobcat machine full complaint
Full leacage
I was actually hoping for a reasonable review. This just seemed bitchy, they use a $1 cotter pin, we use a $1.50 bolt ffs
