@@AndrewCamarata The John Deere is made by Hitachi--- In Japan--- your favorite source of machines...and has a Yanmar engine...
Deere/hitachi are quality machines. But so is kubota.
Hitachi Zaxis based Japanese JD stuff is fine, perhaps a little more of a ‘full size’ type machine than the kubota, but the kubota is undoubtedly strong and reliable
Fun fact, it’s something like 82% of John Deere mini ex’s go through their life with no warranty claims
I am not a fan of the track power on the deeres. I've ran a 35 50 60 and 80 in MY opinion the track power is lacking. The bigger deeres i have no problem with. I even like thier dozers a lot but due to a back injury and personal preference and experience i prefer a Cat high drive.
Dozing 'N Sloping what generation? We had a 27C and it was lacking in drive motor power, but our new 35G is incredibly powerful. Can turn 360 degrees at idle in high range.
@@mrdeereford They were all Actually G machines
Ran them both Kubota hands down
Do a cat 305.5
What year was each machine manufactured in? The JD looks brand new?
13 second in the movie i said "brand new JD", guess its brand new and 2019 :P
The thing which you did not and unfortunately could not compare, was the independent durability of the two machines in maintenance required, breakdown time, broken and/or worn out parts and how durable the individual machines actually are in long term commercial usage. The Kubota is an initial less costly version of all American brand excavators. "But" ???????
JD vs Kubota, nice again Chris.....
They’re both nice machines, but I still prefer a Cat 307CR.
There's a machine you don't see much of these days. Here in the Pacific Northwest they were common 15 years ago. Not today.
I need this in Egypt
How'd the K get it's blade bent?
he dropped a really big log on it
Looked like to me the stick was way longer on the Kubota which made it an unfair test,
I’d rather have the Kubota, hands down
I have a Kubota kx121-3 it has a little over 13,000 hrs. replaced final drives & it's loose as a goose, but still runs strong.
Do you prefer the Kubota KX057-4 or the Yanmar vio55.
Yeah the difference is the Kubota is a mini excavator and the John Deere is a mid-size excavator. This is not a fair comparison between two different companies
That’s insane the Deere can extend all the way and hold that log. Wow I thought for sure it would let it down
he had the blade down on the JD and up on the Kubota. TRICKERY!!!
@@sperommawatch the rest of it he drives both whilst the booms are out
The Kubota is used. The Deere has fresh seals. Also if a valve adjustment will help , the Kubota lift and hold can be improved.
The stick on the Kubota is longer than Deere! That's the difference with this test. Who gives a fuck how big a log you can pick up, I'd rather have the extra reach when digging a trench ( you know... what an excavator was made for) How many times have you sat in a machine and said "I wish I had another foot of reach" ???
Lets see Deere against Volvo
I think y'all should do a cat vs kabota smackdown
@letsdig18 you need a sky trak prefer the 10054 with outriggers
what is the name of that tree guys ?
Lovely video guys!!
Deere Baby!!!😁😉
John Deere the best ever
So Chris, what do you say about this guy who runs Bbstar who did a video talking about what does Letsdig18 make off UA-cam?
the deere weighs 1000 lbs more than the kubota
Kobelco and Wacker vs the Deere and Kubota
Whit that paint sceeme it just Seems to me that deere are trying to copy volvo
John Deere has been doing it for just as long as Volvo
As much as i prefer JD over Kubota it's not exactly a fair comparison unless both machines are equally equipped with a long stick and a counterweight. Longer stick means lower lifting capacity
Can you do a comparison with a Kobelco excavator
