I forgot to add in one very important point in this video: make sure to apply in rounds 1 or 2. In the first two rounds, you have the highest (and equal) chances of getting in. After round 2 the number of places become limited and it becomes more competitive to get in.
Your videos answer st the exact question that arises to me when I see one of your videos. I mean, it is like we're having a real convo haha. Keep it up.
@@MayankSehgal Can you broaden your topics and speak a little about public Universities in France such as Sorbonne, their tuition fees, some pros and cons comparing to HEC for instance, for someone who cannot afford a top University? Thanks in advance!
Thank you, Mayank for the video I am really waiting for this kind of video. can you please tell me how badly can backlog affects the admits in good b schools.
Thanks! It’s the same concept as what I addressed in the academic part of the video - of course it’ll affect. It doesn’t look good on your profile. But you can definitely make up for it in other ways i.e. GMAT and story :)
Very informative video, Can we give GRE instead of GMAT and also if someone graduates with an MiM degree in Europe and doesn't know the country's native language so will there be a problem in finding a job?
Can you suggest the kind of internships which i should do to get into MIM courses for eg : In sales, content writing etc. i am unable to figure this out.
Hi i want to apply for certificate course or program for duration of 6 to 8 months in Finance or Tax in Paris as i am Phd scholar in india so if you can suggest something as my desired course starting jan to march intake 2023. Thanks
Hi Mayank Just wanted to ask were you fluent in French when you studied at HEC. As I heard somewhere that it is important to learn French if you wanna live there.
Hey Mayank. I recently had my round 4 interview for HEC, results are still pending. I am quite anxious about it because my interview was meant to be for around 30 min, while it just lasted for just 15-18 mins with some general questions. Do i take it as lack of intent from their end.?😅
Hi Mayank, first of all thank you for your precious advice. I have a question, I would be glad if you could help me please. Right now, I am studying in a top European university for my bachelor, and I'm thinking about going to HEC for taking a master in finance. Due to personal problems I will be completing my bachelor studies in four years instead of three. Also considering the fact that my GPA is on an average level, do you think these factors will make my application weaker? I know you said that GPA isn't that much of a deal, as long as you get an high score on the GMAT, which I think it's viable for me. The fact that concerns me the most is finishing university in four years instead of three. Thank you in advance, and have a nice day 🙏.
If i may give my opinion, there is also good business school in france besides HEC paris like ESSEC BUSINESS SCHOOL , so your options are not really limited quite from it.
Hi!! I'm planning to do mba from France. Post-mba, do I have an option of sponsoring PR for me and my parents in France?. If not, it would be highly appreciated if you could share countries that provide such an option??
Depends - if you’re an engineer I think GMAT would be easier since it’s more logical and analytical, and verbal is grammar which is essentially like logic. GRE involves a lot more memorisation.
Hi Mayank , I'm Nihareca Jain i saw your HEC PARIS videos and i'm really keen on doing my MIM over there , you had mentioned that you did your GMAT exam , is GRE also accepted and what scores should be good for a strong application , i also wanted to know and few more in depth details about studying in HEC ,is there any way i could connect with you to talk about my queries and studying in Paris , your experiance and knowledge would really help me in taking the right decision. Thanks in advance.
Hi Mayank, that was quite profound and thanks for your effort. About point 2, can you tell me whether they take GRE score for the admissions and atleast how much should be that to be even considered for the process ?
Hey! So you only talked about GMAT. Can you tell regarding GRE too? How much is a good GRE score for HEC? And giving GRE and not GMAT is not a disadvantage right?

Someone told me that I'll need working experience to get a chance to study there... working experience matters more for MBA? Is that right?
Yeah MIM or MIF does take freshers. MBA students in Europe usually have 3-4 or 4+ years of work ex.
Your Content is Awsome 🌟

I believe a 3 year program will work but please check this with the admissions department :)

How much GPA do u recommend at Manipal if I'm looking for an MBA in the Future? An 8+ is gud right? Also How's INSEAD?
Hey! What is the GRE score needed to crack the HEC, if it accepts the test score?
There isn’t a way to “crack” HEC. Your test scores are a part of your overall profile, so there’s no minimum score as such!
Thank you. That was a very helpful video. Do they accept the GRE score for MIM? If yes, what would be the minimum cut off marks?
These are amazing insights!
Thanks Ved!

Sir, a great GMAT score can compensate average CGPA??
Should we definitely have work experience?

Is it okk to get great GRE score for getting admission in HEC ?
Henlo, are there scholarships in hec. Like can middle class indians get admissions. Cus the fees are legit high. 60 lakhs is too much

About point 2, can you tell me whether they take GRE score for the admissions and atleast how much should be that to be even considered for the process ?
Thanks! They do accept GRE afaik. You can convert the GMAT scores I mentioned to GRE scores to get an idea, so around 330+ minimum to be competitive.
