Parties by the lake lol say hi to COVID-19 xD Awesome video, man! I agree with everything you've mentioned. I think I would include 2 facts: 1) If you thought you're gonna be interacting with French students a lot, you're gonna be disappointed. They've had their tight communities since prepa and don't really care about internationals. We mostly have different classes, sometimes different student clubs. Core student organizations like BDE and BDA are also French, so cool activities like election campaigns happen aside of you, except for the free food that you get a lot. Important points: I don't really speak French yet, and I am M1. Maybe the situation changes at M2, where everebody is mixed up, and maybe if I'd have a better language level, I would have felt different. Nevertheless, HEC for internationals is definitely not the same as HEC for French students who did prepa. 2) There is curved grading system here, which was quite a surprise after coming from Russia. Obviously, there are pros and cons, I'm not gonna discuss them. But you are talking about not comparing yourself to others and keeping your own track in mind, and curved grading definitely does not help with that. Again, terrific job! Both content and production quality are really high. Keep going! :)
Hahah lake parties will probably have to wait a bit. But I 100% agree with you on both these points. My uni back in India had a curved system as well so it wasn’t so much of a shock to me, but beating the curve is def harder at HEC!
Hi Mayank, is it wise to wait for another year to get into a course that is ranked higher in France? I have got admit into a business school which is between rank 5 to 10 in France.
What best college we should apply for masters in marketing or management or international business in France ?? Keeping in mind doing job also after post graduation
You mentioned that you didn't had business background you did engineering that made it little difficult for you to adjust with studies.. so does student with commerce background more precisely b.com graduate would it be easier for them to adjust with work life and studies.
I am starting to prepare for MiM. I really wanna get into HEC. I have 1 year of work exp (ongoing). do let me know if we can connect on an individual basis on some other platform. I find your videos very helpful
The video was really helpful! Thank you so much ❤️ However I have my own personal doubt See I am going to handle my dad's business ( it's of medical furniture sales) so I wanted to ask you will the mim course from hec Paris would be helpful to me To successfully expand or manage my dad's business. Pls reply sir m desperately waiting... ( Also a huge fan of urs from india ❤️)
If you really want to make it to HEC Paris, you have to improve your english Mr.Joshi. Don't use words like desperately , you better use the word 'eagerly waiting'. Also it's not medical furniture its medical equipment .
Hey, Can I get into hec Paris for MSc in Strategic Management without work experience Menas I can go to direct HSC Paris after completing 3 years of my college (Complete my under graduation) For MSc in Strategic Management
I'm bothered by the strong Indian accent. I could hardly understand what you're saying. Speak well so people can understand you. That kind of English wouldn't cut at a top UK, let alone US business school.
Your video is so real, like I literally can relate to what you said and feel more confident to apply to HEC Paris in the future
Hey Mayank. Came across your channel. So crisp. So well put. Great editing. And very to the point. Bon chnaceee!
Thank you!! Glad you enjoy it!
Watching from Kenya==> thinking of joining HEC :) Merci
All the best!
Thanks a lot . Let us know more about hec and your experience .
Pretty much spot on with my experience. Although I found the cafeteria to be ok. It’s cool to hang in Versailles though..
The cafeteria is actually OK this year - I think it was just specially bad in my first year lol

Such backward thinking. You're terribly unfit for an international atmosphere.
Shut the fuck up, his accent is really nice and understandable. HEC is No.1 in the world for MiM, basically way above any US or UK University.
