Colonel, I'm Brazilian and I believe it's unnecessary to delve too deeply into my HOSTILE political positions towards the USA, considering the MANY OCCASIONS in which your country DISRESPECT our sovereignty, promoting COUPS and POLITICAL ASSASSINATIONS in Brazilian territory... But I want to express my admiration for your HONESTY and CORRECTION as a soldier, congratulations!!! I wish there were more like you in the high command of the US Armed Forces.

Thank you for expressing your views. Even though I’m an American citizen who has served & loves my country, it’s become painfully clear over the past several years that the ppl of the US have been deceived many times by our own elected leaders & US corporate media. Unfortunately, it appears that US foreign policy for decades has not respected the sovereignty of many nations. The policies seem to be focused more on American corporations & wealthy elite making money rather than considering legitimate national security interests, the working class ppl of the targeted nations, nor even the interests of the 90% plus of Americans. Our democracy has been seized by greedy special interests & US corporate media assists by misleading US voters.
In my humble opinion US foreign policy must conducted openly & in writings published weekly so that citizens can understand what govt leaders are doing under our names & under our flag. And then there must established forums for citizens of the world to communicate directly across national borders so that we can hear first hand accounts & understand what improvements must be made to be fair to the ppl of both nations. The average American would be appalled to learn what’s been done all over the world under our flag at times. So yes, I believe what you are saying. More & more Americans are learning to not trust US corporate media & to seek truth from other sources. I hope that more US voters will wake up soon & demand that fair & equitable foreign policy be conducted in our names. Thank you for your comment. 🇧🇷 🇺🇸 👍

I spent 30 years in the Marines and retired as a Lt. Col. with the 33rd Air Wing. We flew sorties over Iraq and earlier, Libya. In Libya, it was my first experience using laser guided weapons. I was impressed with the accuracy. In Iraq, I flew the F/A-18E and had a Weapons Officer in the back seat over my right shoulder. Flying the F-16 was a great plane and I hated giving it up, but when I flew the F/A 18, I had the thrill of any airman when I hit the afterburners after dropping or shooting my payload. I was back at the Carrier in no time and received a great welcome home.
Col. MacGregor was well known by all 4 Divisions of the service. Army, Air Force, Marines and Navy. He was a very good strategic leader that depended on getting good intel. He should have been a Professor at either the War College, West Point or The Naval Academy.

We never really heard about who won or who didn't at NTC. We just got our asses kicked and bounced around in our Vietnam air droppable vismod Sheridan's ...We didn't have air assets really....I think maybe 1 or 2 vismod UH1s.....no turret stabilizers like the M1s and Bradley's...shoot on the move style. We had to screech to a halt, captain swung the turret in the direction of the enemy and I had to crank up and down as he's yelling to make sure I'm seeing what he's seeing. I took down a lot of cobras, M1s... Next captain was an aviation commander previously, so I got to go up and fly over the desert battlefield with some brass to plan out the strategic goals. Like Colonel Macgregor, I too have evolved as a veteran..I always knew messing with the Russians was not where we wanted to go. Politicians like Pelosi and the deep state have taken us to a territory that is beyond my belief. Even as a cold war veteran also stationed in Europe 8th inf. Div., the intense non stop field live fire trainings, muster alerts, Nuclear Biological Chemical training, Rhine river, rifle runs, training in pure hell cold...even prepping for a war that might have a bullet, land mine, gas mine, bio weapon, chopper cannon, missile, rocket, grenade or nuclear missile.with your name on it..would make people realize,it's not a video game, there will be losses and if you're willing to give up your children and grand children to a stupid senseless war before diplomacy then you don't belong in power. But yet here we're are, people voting for these warmongering military industrial complex build up....billions of taxpayers dollars for weapons to go to the black market, arm.who knows...same with the Obama, Biden Ukraine coup they planned, now Poland and Taiwan, tons of weapons of death spread all over.... instead of peace....FU Biden and your Democracy deep state death machine....people voted for a yes man career deep state man. The rulers of that deep state aren't looking out for our best interests or peace....

There are only two career opportunities in life. You can either become a liar or a philosopher.
Take politicians for example; if they actually worked to solve problems, they would indeed disolve their own profession.
With weaponised currencies, radical nationalism, and religion, they prey on the poor people's needs, and the rich people's fears, dividing and conquering the masses while dividing the power amongst themselves and consolidating the system with a well armed security detail, police, military, and a bureucracy that is nearly impenetrable and works in effect for a totalitarian new world order.
Government by democracy is a battlefield of ideologies. People vote for it out of greed and to limit the rights of others. As the power shifts from the political left to right and visa versa, every commoners rights are eroded, and an ever consolidating and expanding political power structure and establishment is empowered.
Democracy is the worst idea ever. Just ask Socrates if you don't believe me. Oh, I almost forgot; people voted to kill him for speaking out against democracy.
    Democracy is dystopic.

As an American, there is nothing that I can say that would put right this terrible injustice. As another human I weep with you and ask God to bring peace between all people on this large planet. It's the only way forward. Americans, in a great majority, hate war and do not want war at all, anywhere. The fact that our own military has "bug splat" as a euphemism for civilian casualty is only one thing..... EVIL/satanic.

The Rus were Viking tribes that settled in Kiev as far back as 750 AD, 400 years before Moskva existed. Moskva were Finnish Urgic Tribes; Mosk means cow and Va water, which are Finnish names. There is no RUS there. The ethnic background of Moskva is Finnish and Mongolian. The Rus developed the religion, city Kiev, alphabet, and had its saints. They spread Kievian culture much like the Greeks Hellenized the known world, or like the British anglicized the world by the English language. This process does not make Moskva to become RUS in as much as Persian are not Greek. How we are misled by a name; Russia. The capitol of the RUS has always been Kiev. There is no other RUS and no RUS in Moskva. Many say Ukraine began recently; but the culture of the RUS is Kievian RUS, both culture and ethnic background. Ukraine is a name given by Poland meaning outer lands. The lands of the RUS before the Mongolian invasion was very large. The name RUS is a Norse name which means men that row; there are no men that row in Moskva. So Moskva adopted the name Russia while being a Mongolian vassal, essentially traitor to the RUS; and all the czars were Mongolian-Finnish. The Culture of the Mongolian was centralized power, and that was passed on to present day Russia. Ukraine’s real name should be Kievian RUS, or Kievskarus!
Putin & Lavrov should be ashamed of themselves, the USSR was an occupation; it never had the status of a sovereign state and due process of law that would be associated with a free society. As such, it did not deserve to exist; and history has shown such organizations fail over time and author in many gulags. The true culture of Russia is Finno-Ugric and Mongolian, having nothing to do with the RUS (Kievian), expect borrowed as in the sense of Hellenized or Anglicized "forms" as a comparative reference. The centralized form of Russian politics is a very Mongolian imprint on culture. The actions of Putin seem to be another Mongolian invasion of Kiev; here I suggest as to the correct metaphor. I believe so. Putin & Lavrov insistence to have purview over eastern Europe also seems like paying tribute to the Mongolian Horde. This is the Manner which Moskva formed, combining a Finnish name meaning cows water. Va means water. The RUS are men that row, Vikings, Norse, established Kiev 400 years before (750 AD) Moskva even thought to exist. The name Russia for current nation is totally inappropriate. All the lands should be returned to Kiev; the West of Russia to Finland, and the East to Mongolia. Russia’s place on the globe appears as a temporary aberration in my view. To use threats of Nukes publicly strikes at the heart as adolescent behaviour; surely any nation or person that issues such threats and being an ally to such while not even having war imposed on them is not fit to rule. This would include allies of Russia. Oh yes, I remember, Russia didn't invent the bomb, they stole it in the 1940's and gave it to Kurchatov

Barbarossa was all about removing the Comintern in May 1943 by Stalin assisted by Hitler. Thereafter Germany retreated.
In February 1942 Stalingrad (Volgograd) the Germans handed over the victory in order to save Stalin from the Comintern.
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Comintern_Pact
This is why the total loss in Soviet lives was 50 million = 25 million against the Axis + 25 million in the internal war between Stalin and the Comintern. The Comintern murdered at least 65 million Soviets between the two world-wars. NKVD = KGB.

Iraqi soldiers were trained and equipped by Americans during their war with Iran. Iraq was an American ally with Donald Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam Hussein. With Americans as your "friends" you do not need enemies, as Saddam found out. Ditto Bashar Assad of Syria who supported the Americans in the Gulf wars.
