Last time you made it, I told you it was almost perfect but that I wished that you would have left the horn instruments out at a certain part. You replied that you agreed, and would take another crack at it. Here you are couple of years later making me smile again! It's perfect.

a year after its release back in 1998 when I got this game, I was like " BEST GRAFFICS EVER" lol
but final fantasy 8 took that place quite quickly with its opening submarine movie

Excellent! Well composed and performed.
Very nice, sounding more epic but with less oomph and slightly less mechanical which fitted the song to the setting in the first place. Overall, a brilliant re-do of one of the most memorable openers in gaming!

But i fear thats mainly something that, we, your fans, wish for....
I wish, but no. And i think a real orchestra could do a better job. If i was in charge i would like to be supervising and deciding what to do with each song. As you can probably tell by my takes on video game songs, i'm very conservative and i would definitely push it in the direction of updating but not changing the music, maybe add new themes only like "Cloud's theme" or some others officially missing. I would definitely not let anyone ruin the music of the game, at least fans could count on that. Maximum respect for all the hours Uematsu spent making this soundtrack, i wouldn't change one single note.

What do you think is the main difference between your music production back then and today?
I'm really interested because I'm creating orchestral music too that probably sounds like your old remakes and it would be quiet helpful to hear how you improved so well as I really don't know how.

Man amazing. On your selling site it says "all FF7 songs" or "all FF8 songs" etc But if I buy and then you pop a new track from FF7 or 8 (for exemple), how do I get it ? :)

Thanks man! :) Everybody who's on the list of people who bought ff7 for example will get an e-mail when a new song is released for ff7 and i will send it for free. This is something i haven't done in the past but will be doing in the future.

This sounds really really great. Only critique I have is some parts have alot of "oompf" and feel like the horns are blasting some sections but then it feels like someone across the room is playing an instrument and its barely reaching the microphone.
Or is that how its supposed to be similar to a symphonic orchestras seating and im missing the point.

Im guilty of loving those horns! Sorry for making them maybe a little too present :) I agree that in the first part of the bombing mission, they should have been little more on the background.

BitSymphony no no no you misunderstood the horns are the best part. But everything else feels like they don't have the presence the horns do on the audio and I don't jus the an volume wise.
