I totally agree, she is one of the best Phrygia (Spartacus) and also she has a lot of personality and style in her art, it is impossible to confuse her with another ballerina. I don't understand why she has been fired from the Bolshoi ??? After all, they have so many ballerinas that they are disposable, it is sad !
I love her so much. Her delicacy is the most traditional Bolshoi style, I especially like her use of wrists. She is the forever Clara. Big shame if bills Hoi that she works under the contract and never debut as Swan Queen in Bolshoi
It is indeed a shame that she was placed under contract far too early! A principal ballerina who combines personal charm and style with great musicality! She has the rare gift of being unique in many facets.
@@cantikaramadhanti5333 it means that she will only be casted when the theatre wants… like sometimes she will dance as sugar plum or else but she won’t be that active than before when she is not under the working contract…what a shame
@@Angela-rw5qh god what a shame 😢 I think it's too early for her to be placed in working under contract. Her charm, musicality is just beautiful, and her Clara is such a legend 😓😓 anyway thanks for the info!
@@cantikaramadhanti5333 Because the directors are a bunch of idiots? Who would rather see undeveloped youth with insanely long, thin arms and legs that mature dancers with actual style and artistry. Kaptsova's petit allegro was amazing---fast and sharp. And she was great dramatically. There's a vid of her in Spartacus with Carlos Acosta that shows off her dramatic skills.
Such exquisite hands/arms ... the only ballerina since Semenyaka that has such inherent grace and elegance you just expect her to flutter off into the sky. This particular video is an absolute joy - as ever, thank you so much !
Nina Kaptsova's excellent positioning of her head - - her shoulders and - - her neck - - otherwise known in ballet as "shouldering" - - does make her - - dancing of La Sylphide - - all the more beautiful - - and quite artistic❗️ To me - - she is a truly magnificent - - prima ballerina - - Nina. Her head at those jumps that start at 4:32. Wow! She neither looks towards her forward direction nor the direction where her foot lands. She keeps the position towards the audience for as long as possible and then quickly turns her head at the moment she lands.

@@candidacarino669 Thank you for your suggestion. Tikhomirova is a dancer I enjoy watching in certain variations. She might also be the best jumper in Bolshoi these days. Btw, Tikhomirova also dances the leading part of la Sylphide and she is scheduled to dance it in a couple of days. If we get lucky, we might see some videos here in YT!

@@candidacarino669 Thank you, you are too kind! Myself I am not a professional ballet dancer and anyway my background does not make me an expert. I also enjoy people commenting on choreographic style and making suggestions about other companies/dancers. I actually went and saw again Tikhomirova in the variation you suggested and enjoyed reading your comment!

In my opinion she is one of the best ballet dancers in the world; and also one of my favourites. Thank you!
She is a joy and always amazing. ❤

I'm kinda confused about what is working under contract means? And why some dancers were placed in under the contract?

~ remember ~ you are not on a stage, you are in another place, in another world
sublime, so delicate.
Just looking at this, wondering if anyone ever tried to light it from an angle not hitting the floor? Feasible?
Нина несравненна. Благодаря исключительно и только ей я понял, что такое балет.
