  • Will the Swift R3 be as comfortable as the A3? Can the shoe compete with Merrill, Columbia, North Face or the alike for comfort? Can you run in these shoes?
    The R3 is definitely wider in the forefoot.
    My take on the durability and comfort of the R3.
    NON Monetized site, review is to be informative. Please give thumbs up!

    These shoes are AMAZING for paintball. Dry socks in most every situation and they got traction to pivot and sprint around.

    I have the exact same ones and think they wear great!
    Almost feels better when walking than an AirMax or Jordan!
    Pleasant material, nice and breathable and still ultra stable!
    Not to mention the sole!
    10/10!

    I just bought a pair of these and they do feel stiff to the touch but as soon as I put them on it felt like they were made specifically for my feet! I love them and they feel great on my feet.

    don't know but i find them soooo comfortable. I have an issue with my foot, I literally throw 3 out of every 4 shoes I buy, they cause me pain. I have the old model of Terrex since few years and they became older than the one in this video. I use them everywhere, to walk, to malls, to work. Now, I am searching to buy new pair different color.

      Yeah that’s really good to hear and especially if you find a shoe that you like stay on it. I’m happy for you I’ve done that in the past can’t find the right fit the right shoe weather be the the arch or the heel or the laces but I definitely know what you mean they also make another shoe the AX which I think you may like, more on the lines of a tennis shoe I’m getting ready to come out with a video we’re just a standard hiking shoe by Adidas but very comfortable but not made very rugged it’s not meant to be either so cheers to you and thank you and look forward to hearing from you in the future!

  • @Dusty_Hikers

    I just reviewed these against four other shoes and they performed well but lost to better hiking shoes in head-to-head testing. They are heavy and stiff compared to the Vasque, Merrell, and Salomon shoes I also tested. I think they are comfortable but there are better shoes for the price.

    • @jborrelli34
      @jborrelli34 2 роки тому +2

      Thats a bit subjective. The reason I prefer these over any Salomon, Altras, Merrells is because they’re stiffer and solid. That is a huge benefit for support and people with existing feet/toe problems. I find the grip to be unmatched on any type of terrain, particularly while hiking to the point where nothing else has come close. Theyre more of a shoe tailored toward people who dont want a boot or a mid but dont want something too light and flimsy.

    I've a pair of these tand they absolutely nail the top of my foot across the joint of my big toe and foot. Unbelievably painful to the point I had huge thumb size blisters on both feet. I like them though but they're going to take a while to break in. I didn't go up a half size and they fit perfect everywhere else. I went up a half size on the NMDs and they feel like clown shoes in comparison.

  • @MickTShaft
    @MickTShaft 2 роки тому +1

    I got these last week and they dig in and hurt at the bottom of the bridge/start of toes where the trainer bends and they're hard on the bottom of the feet. I've walked 40-50 miles in them and they aren't softening up. I read on amazon reviews by numerous people that they are comfy but you're right they aren't! I don't get why they would make them so uncomfortable when it's what people want from a hiking or trail running shoe, well it's what I wanted!
    Thanks for the top review!
    Btw I have slim feet and have been wearing winter socks with these to try and get some comfort and for a snugger fit.

    • @MickTShaft
      @MickTShaft 2 роки тому +1

      @@douglasbrown9625 Hi, I realised that the thick socks were causing more discomfort, too tight. I got new insoles and wear thin socks and they became more comfortable over time. At first it was taking over 5 miles every time to soften up but the distance became less and now after walking 60-80 miles a week for 3 months they show little signs of wear and are a lot more comfortable. If I try wearing thicker socks though the pain starts quite quick across the bridge and cramp on my instep.

    • @douglasbrown9625
      @douglasbrown9625  2 роки тому +2

      Yes, they are awesome and built very well. These are the Gore-Tex version. They are a little warmer during the summer. But then again. I don’t need slushy feet from all our rains. Keep in mind. They need several weeks to break in and they are very stiff shoes. Some people have commented that they can’t wear them because of the stiffness. They are very rugged. Cheers and good luck.

    • @douglasbrown9625
      @douglasbrown9625  2 роки тому +5

      Excellent question, my answer would be they are both the same fit and feel with the same continental lug sole, however the R2 is extremely thin and for skinny feet they would be very uncomfortable if you have a wider foot. The R3’s Are fairly stiff and take several weeks to work out but they are much wider in the forefoot! That is a big difference to me as I need to wider footprint! Cheers!!!!!
