Research looks pretty good, refinery expansion looks pretty good. I'm smack dab in the 42 ship range so those repair refits look useful to me... But...
Not keen on the current time sink and organisational grind for waves so not massively keen on an even more complicated version. Glad I don't need to chase the officers. Will probably come back to this after I've unlocked the NX01 and got more ex-borg favours on the board
NX-01 is far more valuable. Cuts the grind of that loop into something manageable once a week.
There's been more Epic and Rare officers released than Common officers.
I wish my Magic the Gathering boosters were like that... !!
This looks like a healthy update overall. However I've given up trying to chase officers in SLBs and Heroic "Spend More Stuff" events, which makes me very reluctant to buy any BattlePass in an attempt to "keep up with the Jones's"
When all the officers are epic, none of the officers are epic!
I think they're using the "rare" tag to justify making it hard to obtain and can charge for it

Hope is the first step towards disappointment... and Hype is the guarantee of disappointment and pain.
Mirror Rev does lots of mining. Not because he needs the elements, he just loves mining. When not mining, he loves giving away those ores to everyone he meets. So when you see him, go say hello, you will find your cargo hold full of ore that you did not even ask for.
Yay, Event Store!! Bek did mention in Scopely's video that this is the last month of Mirror Universe, so I give you a pass. :-) Thanks for the review. Also, this seems to be another "Quantiy" month, hope there's quality behinds the scenes to support all the new stuff.
Getting the marrior down to lower levels is good ... hope the sourcing (both unlock and long term) is also good.

As a lvl 30, I am okay with the arc so far. Love the continued amounts of syndicates for the under 40 crowd. Not sure I will make an effort for any officer other than Mirror Kira.
Great video rev and much more info provided then other sources, I see loads of quantity and then some more quantity on top of it this month but very little of quality or actual worth for the ftp, and another event store month, what's that like 3/4 so far this year which means very little to no material rewards yet again. At this point I'm leaning to doing the same I've done most of this year which is my dailies and the BP event each day then off the game goes.
The new waves costing 1500 s31 credits is massively disappointing. I don’t see this being successful. Waves are already a huge time sink, so you have to do the old waves to do the new waves and lose progression on whatever you were working on.

Does anyone still understand the logic behind the 1000 quadrillion different currencies in this game?; well me not..
I'm one of those weird people who likes when they throw a ton of stuff at us. I can choose what I want to do and what I want to skip.
Having said that, I currently almost never do waves (once every few days when the wave bp is running), so more waves? Maybe they'll win me over, who knows.
I also find it amusing there's yet another anti-base defense thing coming out. They really hate base defense.
One thing that I didn’t see mentioned in the notes is that they added a liquid trellium exchange to the refinery for the forbidden tech: corrupted cybernetic implant and the Orion cargo transport. Nice to see another ftp route for some forbidden tech
They actually added quite a few QOL improvements but didn't mention them lol

@@RevDeuce your video came across as guarded optimistic about this update, so no, not blind. Maybe underselling the guardedness but your other videos make your stance quite clear.
There's alot a pretty nice list of QOL improvements this month. Which players asked for:
* Meridian being added to 1* TC Zones
* MU providing speed up for Stella/Actian/Voyager loops
* Officer "choice" (if you buy the BP you get to choose which rare PVP officer you get)
* Arc Runner is also keeping the brackets g5/g6 this month, that should be mentioned (though still can be said as experimental)
* Rare Officer specifically to help new players with grind
* MU Voucher limit raised to 1,200, and common rift key cap raised to 1,400
* F2P Sourcing for 1 Rare PVP FT & 1 Rare Mining FT added to Mirror Refinery
* F2P Sourcing for paid only FC Slot via Event Store
* Strike Team Officers added to Ultra Recruits
^ Examples of things that benefit everyone/F2P that came in this month.
I think it's okay to dislike things. But the people who just need (not saying you, dreier) and immediately dump on something they haven't learned or experienced certainly doesn't help anyone or make the game better.

Dude 100%. Has been for a while. That's why I just don't even bother with PVP unless it's for an event. And even then I gotta just painfully take the losses till I'm done. It's a very expensive rat race

Thanks for the breakdown! Not super excited about this Arc (or the last one) since PVP isn't something I care anything about, but the Mirror research is nice and more efficiency is always good.

Please tell scopely that as part of the bug fixes, fix the darn "loss of connection/lag" issue in waves. Original waves do this again and now these new mirror universe waves are doing it. Great idea releasing new content that keeps the old issues and bugs. It would be great to have this fixed so waves were doable, before they release something new like solo waves next lol.
Another Arc I'll be giving a miss. Tried the new wave as an opps 51 player only to lose both ships in round 1. WTF.😢 Skipped through the missions as very boring and was used as means to an end to get the rewards. Hope someone didn't spend too much time putting it together. But, as ever, informative and essential viewing Rev. 👍

Hull repair on my 250m Corvus is worthless. I have a 600m Sanctus. The Corv never leaves spacedock.

Could please ask the overloads for the following in the event store.
Please add an exchange to change the rare officer tokens (for mirror Troi and Ezri) for event store currency.
Add purchase for 5 BPs and 10 BPs for ship blueprints.

Seems like some great additions! But even more wave defences? Normal ones are already too much 😅
Can you please ask them to speed up waves. Maybe add a research that allows players to skip up to say wave 6/7 based off ships in the wave. Me and another player went to wave 10 and the only reason we didn't beat it is we can't kill 52's alone yet.
Right now we have to run 15/20 minute wave to get the mirror wave to rub 15/20 minute wave there.
Is that 25% repair against base, or after research/buffs? If the former, it's useless, so I'm hoping it's the latter.
Excited or could not care less, I fall in the last group because I am only lvl 17.
its been like 10 yrs since the new trek movie came out w the ship marcus had built in the movie. scopely ever gunna make that ship available? wanted 1 since i saw that movie. only fed ship i want next to enterprise
They started with the kelvin movies, but departed from that once they got the rights/access to make content based on the series. Doesn't mean it will never come though!
After taking 2 years off the holy fk factor is now in full effect. But after 2 months back with min. $ (a battle pass) put up 10 mil power and 5 new ships.... officers are coming around slowly however
My alliance rarely does the original waves.

I will say, one thing that annoys me with Stella efficiency bundles is, they don't give you Rogue Research tokens. That's my problem right now, I have about 2 scrapped max Stella worth of particles that I can't spend on research cause of those stupid tokens
Well you use credits to get said tokens, but, I still see your point!
I would like a mobile repair station. That can recycle afk ships for rss. And anyone can use as long as there are parts available.
Would be like player vender in other games.

I am happy that we got an update for the event store though. Might actually play a bit this month to get some new toys. The pricing for the Ion Particle is outrageous though, that is not worth twice as much as an extra FC slot unlock...
All i give to craps about is event store hope nx01 is in it.
About the only good thing about this update is that there is side missions to cover, so D- and playable for a change after months of refusing to even install this game.
Its insane they added new wave defenses when the originals are still incredibly buggy. They straight up copy pasted the old system.
I personally despise wave defense.

I don't think rev understands. What people are complaining about with the mu waves . It's the 3 day sms. That people aren't happy about if they had intended for level 40-46 players to finish it each day with the number cipher keys we were given. The milestone should have been lower. It doesn't matter how organized you are most lower to mid level's 40's players ain't getting more than 750 sms points from 300 cipher keys a day.
I do understand the issues. Most 40-46s should be able to get through several waves before dying. There are G4 only groups that have 10/10'd these waves. (granted, level 50s at the top of G4, but still).
how many of the rares shares will i be able to get? more than 7?
This game has gone full MR...used to like to play this game when I knew what was a good officer ext ..and level up and plat accordingly. Now it's so complicated I don't know how to event play..like shutting in the dark
More stuff for ops 40+ man scopley only cares for the spenders. Not all of us can make this a second job and stay online for 12+ hours doing what needs to be done to progress. We all aren't rich either we all dont have 100k to drop on a game just to stay relevant

Dunno, officers again need assimilate, kinda meh.
Other stuff - meeh, grindy, I normally do waves only once 3 days when the wave battle pass is active. Don't like waves, and already can see that the event structure will make those new waves into a daily grind. Double meeeeh.

Will Lt Picard work against q trial hostiles?
The Agony Booth is literally the only thing I care about this arc. We'll see how disappointing the event store is at reset.

Rev when are they going to fix the game so people can get on. When I go to get on it starts loading fine and stops at 70%. Then nothing no matter how long I let it sit there.
Have you put in a ticket? There are no major issues preventing players from logging on that have been reported anywhere, so it seems this would be an isolated issue. Feel free to shoot me the ticket and I'll see if I can't get it escalated! Did you already update the game?

Most of my time in this game is spent grinding the older loops still and doing my dailies. I only recently started the xindi/nx-01 loop grind. I've basically been ignoring everything after that. I also don't see an end in sight for the older loops, either. I don't know how I'm supposed to find the time for this new stuff. Plus, from what I've seen, everytime they release a new game changing mechanic they release new game changing mechanics later that nerfs the previous game changing mechanics. So eh... why bother.

Well the mirror waves are BS tool in a T6 Kelvin and couldn't even kill a wave 2 ship
Managed a wave 1 interceptor an a Wave 2 minor. No noticable damage but a wave 2 interceptor took me out. At this rate I will need 15 starts to complete the event.
Once again craptacular wave with so over powered enemies that they might as well say it's for over ops 46+ anyone else is just not making a dent. Then to put most of the event currency behind killing the new mirror waves. Weaksauce

More is more just a bunch of stuff that is pay only and a big push for more pvp to get us to spend mor. I may take a break this month and see what next month brings to see if I even want to stay with this game. Just frustrating constant push. Level 46 player here.
Don't see much value in pushing much of the new content aside from the forbidden tech and even then I'm so limited in what I can push bc of the upgrade parts

Wow, the new building gives us more time in MU to watch the boring and needless impulse traversing in system after system.....instead of allowing us to jump directly to a deep system by paying the rift key net cost with one click. Ugh....wasted time just to get to deep MU!!!

I don't post here much, so I haven't said this on your channel before, but I hate Scopley so very very very very much.
So scoply breaks the pvp with unrealistic over powering crew buffs...like freeman or hon warf ...so scoply introduced mirror universe and now distinct 56 rather than fix what they broke with pvp in the first place..over the top officers that makes pvp unbalanced...so players that wasted their time and money to upgrade a ship lv or ship power ...find that all that has little meaning in pvp..why should we trust scoply with upgrading district 56 to bring balance back...or is this a money grab...break the game frustrate the player hope players spend money to fix what scoply keeps breaking....
Reduce .. reuse .. recycle .. rename .. reyawn ..

Nope, just nope. These new waves are BS. I hated the original waves and thought they were to hard but I could get 3 ta 4 rounds. ! round in the new ones. I know that when the survey comes up I'm already giving this a F grade. Why cant Scopley maintain some indication of expectation. each new content seems just designed to destroy our ships as quickly as possible. I don't care what it gets you in the game it isn't worth this kind of aggravation.
If you're in the 40s and can't get past 3/4 rounds of the original waves, I'd suggest you slow down. Sounds like you've advanced far too quickly.
@RevDeuce if I was in a wave of people all my ops level, with no whales 4 rounds is about where everyone makes it. There may be some ships in the 5th, but they weren't gonna finish it.
I understand where I am at power wise in this game. I'm not the weakest, nor the strongest free to play or low spenders on my server. I'm at a point where I'm taking a pause on ops levels to try to get resetch caught up, but they keep adding more. I do know where I am. I can do most things others complain about. I had the power to effectively do freebooters on day 1, voyager wasn't an issue even with go home gun, xindi easy, silence no problem (even taking 1 or 2 69s), gorn didn't understand why some thought it was hard, waves was somewhat over powered for me when it started but that's not it's problem. The new waves aren't a power issue either. Waves are a structure issue.
It's like being lied to. There is a power structure you can fairly count on in all other aspects of the game. 35 is a certain difficulty. 40 another. 50 starts seeing power jumps. Waves are marked 40, but nothing in them corresponds with the standards of a level 40 system. The ships that come are marked with a standard difficulty ranking, but again, nothing about the ships meets that standard. They are all more difficult than most ships 49-51. Then, in a mechanic that requires you to hit ships as fast as you can, they mix in ships that are only one step higher that can easily destroy your ships. It's a constant grind in a game with to much grind, that's introducing more constant grind mechanics. I don't know about other servers, but waves are near abandoned on mine. You only see a few here and there running, and it can take several minutes to get the 5 players needed. Even during events. It just sucks normally even if the rewards are good. There not that good. The new waves are even more overpowered and deceptive than the original. All wave systems should be marked over 50, not 40 to give a truer indication of the power levels you're gonna deal with from the beginning.
If you're a low 40s player, wave 3/4 is what you're EXPECTED to complete. Remember, waves are set up in a milestone structure. waves 3/6/10 are milestones. You're not going to beat waves if you're at the bottom end of the entrance set. Just like the original waves players in G3 top out around wave 6/7. These waves are marked 40 as a START. As it's been explained since waves came out, they're a progression mechanic that gets harder. No one at 42 is expected to be able to get to wave 10 of the new waves.
As far as activity, waves are very widely used/participated in across the game. It was the positive feedback on wavesthat led to more being created.
The BP is what it is always full of rewards, but no one wanted this mirror universe arc I really do not care for the officers or mirror systems and oh what joy more waves. Event store is great , but I'm not excited at all. Get on with the game

There are multiple things for lower levels... (officer specifically for them, a previously paid only fleet commander slot in event store, etc.) 40+ are not whales, nic
