Thank you, Becka. Nice of you to share. I am 91 and have had some kind of colitis since the 60’s. Tried all kinds of meds but it actually just keeps getting worse. Tests and Doctors have not really helped for a very long period. Bless you in your future life.

I'm so glad you are better. I'm hoping and praying that they can figure out what is wrong with me in the next few weeks so tired of stomach pain and nausea.

Wow!!! What a journey that has been for you Becca!!! My gosh!!! ❤HUGE HUGS❤
Do have questions for you both. Since your journies have been very different on having crohns, how do you stay positive? How do work with having crohns or did you think work wasn't an option of the career you wanted to pursue? Lastly, (this for caregivers, want to hear your view) even though caregivers aren't going through what you're going through or in the future (hospital stays/surgeries if needed), what would you want you're caregiver to know to help you through stressful times or moments? What do you say when someone says that has chrons, "You don't have this disease, how can you possibly know what it's like?" Although that's true, we don't know what it's like, we just want to help. How do you help or what do you say in those moments to a love one who says that?
Love how you did the calberation on your channel Maggie!! Do more of these!! It was informative. Just shows that if 2 people have the same disease, doesn't mean the disease is going to run the same way. Glad you brought that to light. 👍 There should be shirt/mug that reads "Chrons *SHOULD* get Chrons" ((merch idea Maggie)) You guys by all accounts are so dang brave!
    🌼🌼have a great day🌼🌼

I had Hodgkin's lymphoma as a teenager and because of where my tumours were they had to put my port under where my bra line is and I ended up with bad nerve damage and hypersensitivity. It was so bad that when they would clean the site with an alcohol swab/sheet it felt like I was being sliced with a knife. So you can only imagine how painful actually accessing it was, it was actually that bad that when I relapsed they used a central line instead of placing a new port. Eight years on and it still hurts slightly when I have skin on skin contact with my port site but I clothing and stuff is fine now thankfully. I'm glad that your port works well for you though.
