We love food, and we especially love tacos. If you would like to see more videos like this one, let us know in the comments!!
In order of appearance, here are the five must-have taco locations that we visited:
El Pato Barbacoa y Mixiotes, famous for their slow-pit-roasted lamb. Besides their delicious lamb, their homemade tortillas are also quite good.
La Azotea has been a fixture in San Miguel de Allende, and one of the oldest roof-top terrace bar in town. Their breaded fried shrimp taco on a jicama tortilla is a must.
Atrio, is a relatively new terrace restaurant right across from the famous Parroquia, San Miguel's main church. For this video, we featured their delicious soft-shell crab taco.
Andy's Taco Cart, is one of the best street food carts in town. We especially like their tacos al pastor.
Tostévere is a cozy restaurant that has a nice variety of tostadas (open-face tacos served on a crispy shell) our favorite from this place is the octopus tostada accompanied by a delicious Dos Aves craft beer.
I own a house in SMA and I love all your Tacos, great job!
Great video! We will be in SMA this November and I can't wait to try all your taco and other food places. Please make more videos on casual dining as this is more our style, thank you.
You’ll love the food in San Miguel!
I’m going to visit these spots. Thanks!
Have fun!
Thank you
You're welcome
Great video, more please! But what about vegetarian options? Don Taco Tequila...which was great once upon a time but last time (18 months ago) not so much. How about markets for a visit?
Great idea! We’ll check out the veggie options. Besides Don Taco Tequila, what’s out there?
@@antiguacapilla I have no idea now. We've only been back since June and not going out except to Labradores to see Ann's mom, and once to Senderos a few days ago. Let me check with our friends who are more out and about than we are and have been here during the covid.
And is Dos Aves still available if I ring your bell?
@@jeffessor1 yep! Just give us a heads-up.
