I can not more strongly urge you to use someone else than expedia. The cusotmer service is terrible. They will not stand behind their customers when there is aproblem or dispute. The only thing they can say is the vendor hotel says no credit so no credit for you. Even thought we left since there were bug and bed bugs in our last hotel stay. I guess Expedia justwants you to sleep with bed bugs. Abosuletely no help! Avoid and book with someone else!

Wont call it a scam or hack, Expedia doesn't guarantee the lowest price. Direct or indirect you should compare precise.

If CitiBanamex would have not declined your card it would have only charged you about 35pesos to make the withdrawal.

it also happens in some stores when using a credit card. You will be asked if you would like to pay in usd or pesos . always use local currency. This is particularly prevalent in Europe. Just seeing it pop up in SMA.
