@@pubgchanell6843 Actually they fixed it awhile back so both pilots had to be killed to knock the plane out, but they usually sit next to each other so HE tends to kill both.

If you've ever been inside a WW2 bomber, you'll know they're really hard to move around inside, so it might take 30s or more to get into the pilots seat, and that's even if they noticed till the plane started to dive or roll unusually.
And then, even if they could get there in time, apart from the co-pilot, nobody else would have been trained to fly a bomber, let alone a damaged one... So those guys are just going to bail the **** out (if they can even get out of a diving or rolling plane in time).
"Why is there no G overload, War Thunder??" Because no one at Gaijin ever anticipated someone would maneuver an ME-264 like this, obviously. :)
no I guess, there were some advanced mix of materials used in the high aspect ratio wings that made them sturdier, I guess the tech would have been similar to the ta 152's wing tech, obviously not as fast as we see in the game but they are stronger than they look

An ME-264 was never built, so the actual wing material would have probably been regular aircraft alloy.

you can land with gears but to slow down you gota spin 360s 2 or 3 times to reach bellow 300kmh,then be 280 when tuchdown,yours is more faster but i pilot this thing for mounths now,it kinda gets in head to actualy land with gears on

Legit same 🤣 i have since graduated to the IL28. People SEVERELY underestimate how deadly the 23MM turret is. And how surprisngly maneuverable the aircraft is. Very similar to the me264 in that regard lol

If you like playing Bombers as fighters, you'll *love* the Brigand. 4 hispanos with 800 rounds, pretty nimble, more like a heavy fighter, good climb and bomber airspawn. It's so much fun.
Day 58: Phly, you should play the Hawk III Chinese fighter; 900lbs of bombs in a biplane at 1.0 that you can dogfight in after dropping. Totally balanced.

One of my favorite things to do in this is when I'm defending against fighters is to shoot till empty and roll over to fly inverted and use the belly guns while the top reloads.
Vehicle Recommendation: If you like to B&Z in this, try out the shackleton! Doesn't have quite the top speed or agility but can still do 640 kph and being able to use 4x20mm forward without tracers is pretty devastating.

As a person who's 1080p computer screen is often dirty i greatly apricate it that they made planes more visible in game

Got my "inapprochable" title with this plane. In Arcade though... Bombing a base in 1 run is satisfying too. Good thing I got a talisman on it and I grinded up to BR 10 aircrafts with it
You did it the right way, the shocker would be how many more points he'd get for a base kills vs a few fighter kills. No wonder the RB crowd thinks the grind is long.
I do the same thing with my A-26C. The plane is insanely fast, easily reaching 400mph, and quite responsive, complete with frontal .50's and pretty good tail gunners. I love to ditch bombs and bum-rush right into the climbing enemy fighters.

If you spawn on the airfield, you get disposable key pods that you can activate at any time. They were installed to shorten the Me 264’s takeoff run.
Day 237: Phly, I challenge you to get 8 kills in one game with the SU-5-1. This MBT/Tank Destroyer is severely underloved in your channel.
Bomber vs Bomber engagement = literal drive-by
You see that sort of designation system in naval warfare with the advent of the Torpedo boat and then the Torpedo Destroyer to defend against them. Was essentially a slightly larger torpedo boat with guns that could keep up with the fleet and eventually became the Destroyer as we know it.
A good way to slow this thing (or any bomber) down is the put the throttle to 0% and increase prop pitch to the max. Works like a dream

Honestly you can do this with a lot of things, not necessarily with the stall climbing but, the Halifax & Pe-8 (at lest for me) are really good for messing with fighters because the Pe-8 both tanks but is also weirdly Uber manoeuvrable if you pull the right way & the Halifax can do some weird shit if you know what you’re doing with it and it can maintain the energy while doing so.
I love getting underneath the me264s with a p61 and nailing it with the turret from 1km out.

Day 5: Phly, you should try the G91 in Air RB with AA 20 Nords. Obviously they're MCLOS but if you get them close enough, they proximity detonate. It's not too hard to get used to and very effective once you get proficient.

Phly. Rockwell did design a B1 bomber to be a bomber fighter. Instead it's rotary bomb bay was full of AMRAAMS and it had a huge nose radar.

It has a bomber spawn despite basically being a strike fighter (armed with 4 forward facing 20mm) and is fast and manoeuvrable.

I always wondered what the thing under the wings are and their rocket boosters when u land and take off I never knew they had rocket boosters
My favorite bomber to do this is the B-24, it is more fun to me to take a bomber and dogfight other bombers or fighters than an ordinary fighter
Me-264 best defenses in my opinion, that's why it's my favourite bomber overall

You might want to check out the PE-2s which can carry 10 RS132 high explosive rockets which can be set to airburst...... Also has frontal armament, is decently fast, and can turn ok. Is very cheeki breeki.

the "long Range" part of the bomber is it's capability to shoot down fighters at an effetive range of 1 km away.
Us B-17’s are too used to being hunted at altitude by anything and everything so we started using all types of manoeuvres
You know if you spawn this thing on a runway it comes with like six JATO/RATO cans below its wings that can work as afterburners if you dont use them for takeoff

You should revisit the American P-61 it has radar still and it's top gun is one of the nastiest bomber slayers in the game for the BR. Also wouldn't mind seeing a return of the BV-238
