You literally helped me salvage a dead phone. Dropped it and the screen didnt break, but it was unresponsive. Turns out connector was disconnected. Thanks for the help

Same here, removed the back cover, which was kinda hard because of a piece of double sided tape that was strongly holding the cover to the battery. It was only a matter of a connector.

I removed this battery nd dispay screen nd fix it again with same tricks but now xeperia z2 not turn on only showing blanking red light while i press power on button.. please help me what i do now
Alguna vez cambiaste la pantalla a un z2 y te dio ghost touch o actividad automatica en el tactil?? Cuando le cambie la pantalla funcionaba bien luego de unos dias de uso empezo a volverse loco el tactil activandose!! Intente con algo de cinta adhesiva debajo del flex de la pantalla, luego añadi otro poco entre el conector de paso a MB y el tactil y de ultimo sobre toda la pieza de conectores y sigue el problema!! alguna sugerencia?

omg i asked a technician to replace my lcd and digitizer?(for touch). i watched him doing it i don't dont know why i saw him putting back the camera and other small parts because watching your video it looks simple and not even touching those parts above especially the camera. cause i noticed my camera is not as good quality as before. :(( is there a way i can know if my camera is not the original one? i need help i'm pissed off
Hello! You don t have any way to find out if it s the original one, you cand ask the technician to check if the camara flex is placed well...Sorry! :(

so, you start off with a smashed sony screen, you fit an after market one on ( no sony name on the top ) then when you turn the newly installed screen on the sony writing happens to be there again.....7.53 in you can clearly see no name, 8.00 its back, does your tutorial actually fix the issue as ive bought a new screen to do the job, I don't want to try it if its a waste of time.cheers

Followed directions 100%. Nothing appears on the screen. The back light is working. Solid red light is on when charging. Checked everything 10 times, still same issue. Any suggestions?

I did same to my z2 but one question plz.. I have one problem.. When someone call me he doesn't hear me until I open the speaker.. So what is the problem? Which part i need to replace too?

TheSmashcat u mean I need to change the flex cable right? I bought one but still watch videos to replace it
there's a microphone in the bottom part, u might have accidentally ripped it off or did place it right
it's covered with black tape right by the vibrator
TheSmashcat yes i saw it and it is still with that black tap.. So the flex cable will not solve the problem?
I have tried replacing my screen. After putting the display back and trying it without the back cover everything was fine. The strange thing is after putting back the cover I'm getting some random flickering on my screen. What should I try ?
