Man I like seeing the stripes so much I’ll mow the same pattern every time. They definitely stand out and last longer. I know you can get into grain issues, but I’m not maintaining a putting green!
A lot of that comes down to soil quality. He's done a ton of work based on his videos with aerating, top dressing, etc. to improve the ground. I'm sure he's got top of the line products too for keeping up with nutrients.
@@bak3s pgr, high N, iron, healthy well-hydrated plants, and, yes, soil. I transplanted a sample of grass from a bucket to my side lawn. this spot where the soil from the pot was put down has the darkest grass. I'm guessing good pH, considering my soil has high ph. And maybe higher organic which may hold nutrients longer than my sandy soil. the color difference is quite obvious/very pronounced.

Yard is on point!
Can I just point out what a great country and time in history we live in where we get to spend time focusing on adding stripes to our lawn? Love it

You can see up against his foundation the brownish coloring. He sprays nitrogen, iron and nutrients to get that darker color.
