The problem is I'm still on the Glycerin 20 I got from 2023, built like a tank, can only buy 22 when my 20 is retired. I got a feeling my pair can go on for another year, still like new.😅
Premium trainer for sure. Love mine, been using Glycerins since Glycerin 17 through Glycerin 20. Also ran two ultramarathons in them. One 107.28 kms in (Glycerin 19) and another 140.8 kms in (Glycerin 20)
@@niqbal81I’ve been considering a different shoe for my upcoming Marathon. I’m a heavier guy with a slightly wider foot. So you would recommend the Glycerin 20 for a first marathon? I’m not going for any records, I just want to finish around 5 hours without wanting to die
@Rmfb20 somehow, the more you ran in it, the foam got better and comfier. Mine is 600km and it feels better when new which I kinda dislike it, too firm
I know these are supposed to be released early next year, but I was able to pick up a pair at my local Academy about 2 weeks ago. It's definitely one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, definitely plush feeling and well cushioned. But, personally, I do prefer a faster shoe for my easy runs. However, it's now my go-to for recovery runs.
Thanks for thenreview Alex. I was hoping for it to be much lighter, sub 300 gr. My US 11 Glycerin Max weighs 333 gr, and the Glycerin 22 with much less stack, but the weight isnt much different. Glycerin Max would be perfect if it wasnt too roomy for my regular feet. Had to wear the thickest socks I could find to fit in the high volume ... I do hope Brooks release the light package Aurora BL v2 with DNA tuned though. This would be awesome!!!
I have the 20s. Good return energy. Comfortable for long runs. But a little too heavy for picking up the pace. That said, the 22s looking very intriguing. 😊
I would love to see the comparison. I bought the max and really liked how it rode, but I had a hotspot the lateral side of my mid foot. My hope is this doesn’t happen with the 22 . I also hope the forefoot has enough cushioning as I’m a 200 pound runner.
That you find it almost too soft shows how different the Glycerin 22 is for different foot strikes. I find it almost too firm because I am landing on the part with a lot less of the big cell material.
Hey Alex! Love the video. Glad you mentioned the Achilles with this shoe. I have the glycerin 21 gts and my ankle + Achilles feels very well in that shoe, I love it. I’m aware of the change in the material from DNA loft. Do you think this shoe can provide the similar stability as the glycerin 21 gts? Please let me know, I would appreciate it a ton.
Glycerine gts jas been me go to daily trainer for past few years how. 3 pairs of 20 and 1 of 21. I prefer the 20 over the 21. How does ik compare to the 21 and 20?
Softer doesn’t sound good to me as I crushed down the forefoot and midsole died prematurely in glycerin 21 for. Me Doesn’t sound better in this review ?
Brooks is stepping up a lot next year. Just the finish on the shoes, looks so much better.

I have been buying up all of the Glycerin 20’s in my size at deep discount 😂
They just work for me.

I cant wait for better colorway haha, plus excited for Salomon Aero Glide 3, that might be another ultimate daily
Agree the new Aero Glides look exciting
I wonder how the Glycerin 22 is vs the new Nimbus 27. Wondering if the Gylcerin 22 is more softer than the 21 close to a Nimbus pillow feel

Bonjour. Qu’elle est la plus douce ? Glycerine 22 ou novablast 5 ? Merci 😊

Interesting! I also understand why you like the Launch 11 better :)
@ if I could have the Glycerin 22 upper on the Launch 11 midsole, I’d be a very happy runner.

With a shoe as good as thid was there any need for the Glycerin max??
I always get toe rubbing even when getting my correct size. The Glycerin Max is also crazy high volume, so hard to get a good fit for me.
Toe rubbing in Brooks that is
I do get a bit of toe rubbing too in this size but i wouldn't size up either.
@@AlexFilitti i think its the firm toe bumpers.
I found this too when trying it on. Thought maybe they ran small. I tried a half size on but felt then it was too roomy?
would love a comparison!
Hi Alex! Awesome stuff. Just wondering if you have any insight on whether this will be released in GTS and wide widths for us wide footed pronators??
Yes there is a GTS as version as well
Softer doesn’t sound good to me as I crushed down the forefoot and midsole died prematurely in glycerin 21 for. Me Doesn’t sound better in this review ?
Comparison v Glycerin 21 - loved the Glycerin 21 so the changes here don’t excite me!
10 mm drop? Not heard in video stack/drop info
38mm stack height and a 10mm drop
Softer, better, stronger?
Sounds familiar 😉
need max colorway here
Hard to disagree, the Max colorway is sublime
@@AlexFilittimaybe this one is much better rather max version for me since im a light runner cant wait
180 for a normal daily trainer 🫠
