I started watching you and Hillery because I like animals. Now it has grown to watch you both work together in a peaceful and contented way. God bless you and your family as you show your kids the value of working together for the greater good . . .producing high quality food, enjoying & connecting to the land handed down from generation to generation and spending quality time together.
Pete, my husband and I truly enjoy watching your videos! They are encouraging and uplifting! My husband farmed with his dad years ago. My grandparents were farmers all their married life. My grandfolks are no longer with me but the memories sure are! Thank-you Pete and Hillary for great videos!
..and at the equator, you light it in the middle and it burns both ways. The northern side will burn in inches and the southern will burn in millimeters.
Watching the cattle being released into the field always takes me to a bible verse, "And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall." (Malachi 4:1)
It's so nice to see you doing some cooking Pete. I'm sure Hillary appreciates a break. I was reading my Bible the other day and discovered something I never knew before. It mandates that the man is also supposed to make the coffee in the morning. You can read all about it in the book entitled, "He-Brews" 😊
Pete, thank you for this video - it marks the transition from Spring to Summer and I’ve been looking forward to it for weeks! I also can’t wait for the barn build that’s coming up in a few weeks - it’s really going to be a game changer for the farm❤
Whoa! Green tall padture grass, smoking good meat on the grill, chicks crowing and growing, pregnant cows mingling, bully bulls set apart, pigs fattening up, sunny skies, buds on trees, bermuda shorts on Farmer Pete. All is good on Just a Few Acres!
Thank you! I forgot it had to go anticlockwise, I have been going clockwise all these years, I kept wondering why my grill would freeze my steaks as apposed to grilling them. 🙂
Sure looks beautiful with that sun shining through the trees and hitting those cows man that’s a nice picture thanks for the memories as Bob Hope would say
10thousand volts just a tickle. That made me laugh so hard for no reason. Instantly had flash backs when I touched my fence... made me almost wanna cry.
Put the cow's out!!! Henry has nothing to say !!!!! Got to see hose heaven, the 5 second rule at the smoker. Beautiful spring day on the farm!! Have a great day Pete.
Glad all is going great for you! Spring is trying up here in MN. Still dropping in the 30’s at night. This coming week looks like a turning point for spring getting under way. Love the sounds of the birds and the happy cattle!
I've never heard that about the counter clock wise thing. At first I thought you were pulling our leg. I wouldn't believe it from anyone else. And dropping the pork belly comment made me laugh. Thanks Pete you always life my spirits. God bless you.
In a previous life raising 4H laying hens the post lay cackle sounded sort of like “LOOK WHAT I DID, LOOK WHAT I DID”. At least what we thought our Rhode Island Reds sounded like 😊😊😊
Hello Peter, Hilarie and Henry. Dinner looks good. Love the reaction of the cows going to pasture. And Peter nice seeing you relaxed in shorts. Enjoy the evening!!😃
That pork looked yummy 😋 Yours is the second cattle release I’ve seen this week. Tom Pemberton farm life let their 160 dairy cows out, they were like bucking bronco 😍
Lovely day for the family, all the family including the fowl and four legged. I liked how it ended with a meal.. and the cycle continues. All the best to you family.
Hi Pete, great to see you doing well. Yes, summer appears to be coming our way. it's good to see the farm operating well. Good luck. See you next time.
I always enjoy that time of the year when you can put the cows out on clean new pasture. Those heifers didn't like you not letting them out with the other cows, ha. The pork looked great, well thanks for sharing, have a nice day.
my father worked on our farm he was a herdsman with approx 60 milking friesians how they frolicked when moved to spring pasture! thanks for reminding me pete!
Peter instead of troubling yourself, just put some electric fencing around the gravel pile. That way you won’t have to move them out of the pasture until you’re ready.
Hi Pete, On your possible problem with cows “pawing” at the gravel pile. You could use one of those ‘rope/wire’ reels (smaller the better). Not good for anything too permanent, but when paired with plastic steaks it’s great for no-go zones. And also fantastic for creating temporary roadways and if two people hold each end you can create a moving wire to move animals around. I hope this helps. Sean.
Oh man I'd love to try that price of pork it looks amazing. Always nice to get the chores done especially ones like letting animals out to pasture. Best wishes this farm season for ya and caint wait to see that old mini iron run more.
Salam dari bali... Senang melihat sapi bisa makan rumput di alam, karena lahannya sangat luas, beda kalau peternak di Bali, pelihara satu atau dua ekor harus di kandang kan, karena lahan terbatas...... 8:01
Burdock seed pods. Annoying, Horses and cattle would come up from the woods covered in burdock seeds. Horse mane's and tails a matted, mess. We would cover our fingers with motor oil. Yup! You would rub it on the burdock and work them out. What a mess. The horses would fall asleep while they stood there cleaning them up. I think it was their secret plan. Thanks Pete and Hillary.
Love your boy's addition to the footage... kids..... whatddya gonna do??? My 23 year old came home this weekend to visit friends first and foremost. Woulda had the same comments as yours. So happy for the cows. They're lucky to have you.
Woo Pasture day! The one day Patty doesn't complain... For a few hours!
I always know when winter is over when Pete lets the cows out!
So peaceful listening to the cattle munching on the grass, hope you and the family are well Pete.
That's right, I've been to a farm with nearly 200 cattle in the pasture and the atmosphere there was so peaceful,
Cooking demonstration of what you sell...marketing 101 👌
Perfect start to my day. Pete you never disappoint. Keep up the great work.
The time spent watching Pete's work on the farm was precious.
Having a farm is hard work but you know where your meats are coming from..
What a beautiful day…I can see why it’s one of your favorite days.
I’m going to reverse the saying: Happy man, happy wife; happy creatures! 🤗
P.S. Henry is included with the creatures.
I started watching you and Hillery because I like animals. Now it has grown to watch you both work together in a peaceful and contented way. Pete maybe a single hot wire around the dirt pile make keep the cows off of it.😊
Fire burns clockwise in the northern hemisphere, and counter-clockwise in the southern hemisphere.
...Unless you live in a country that uses the metric system. If so, then reverse the rotation.
..and at the equator, you light it in the middle and it burns both ways. The northern side will burn in inches and the southern will burn in millimeters.
10:36 it’s really nice to see the cows running around having fun!
Thank you so much for bringing us along with you for the day. Your dinner looked AMAZING!
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood 🌻
I was looking forward to this and wasn't disappointed. Have a great day Pete! Thank you so much!
Watching the cattle being released into the field always takes me to a bible verse, "And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall." (Malachi 4:1)
What a great way to start the week! Thanks Pete
Instead of morning coffee, I get morning Just a Few Acres!
It's so nice to see you doing some cooking Pete. I'm sure Hillary appreciates a break. I was reading my Bible the other day and discovered something I never knew before. 9:52 Time for the traps and paper for the fly.

it's so good to see you and Hillary in a "Happy Place" in your lives. God Bless
What a fun day, letting the cows out, listening to the chickens and watching the cows determine their place in the group.
The moment, when livestock goes to pasture and seeing how happy they are, is the happiest moment in all year farming❤. I know it from my expiriences😁.
I know people come to the channel for the cows and the farm life but stay for petes humor :) I know I do
Allways ready to see the positive side of life. And such a foody. Not fair, I ended up liking the screen...
Bossy pig and JJ look like they are fully enjoying their new area.
Pete, I don’t farm. Never have and never will, but your farm, family and videos always bring me joy.
2:59 the boys will definitely be NOT HAPPY
Just put my cows out on pasture the other day. It’s a good feeling! Glad everything went smoothly for you! Thanks for sharing
Thank you! I forgot it had to go anticlockwise, I have been going clockwise all these years, I kept wondering why my grill would freeze my steaks as apposed to grilling them. 🙂
Thank you, Pete! We always enjoy your videos but especially today! We're in northern WI and we have snow & 30° today
My grandma and that when chickens lay eggs, they say, "Look-Look-Look what I Did!"
12:32 - That one on the pile gave me "It's over Anakin, I have the high ground" vibes.
Munching crunching season. We all love that because it is not snow. Well not for most people.
Oh no! Counterclockwise fire is metric! The meat won't like the 4,000,000 degrees that makes! 😂
Welcome to spring, Pete!
Wonderful. Great day. Cows are in joy❤😊. Dinner looks great. I smile for you. ❤❤😊😊😊
18:52 😳😦😂 Wow you clean up pretty good. 😁 The cattle sure seem to be happy to be back on the grass. Another great video. Thank you Pete. 👍
Put the cow's out!!! Henry has nothing to say !!!!! Got to see hose heaven, the 5 second rule at the smoker. Beautiful spring day on the farm!! Have a great day Pete.

Sure is a perfect picture to see the cows out grazing on the lush green grass.
Start put up the fly traps
Ah, no. More on that later.
Need to have some fried okra with that supper
I've never heard that about the counter clock wise thing. At first I thought you were pulling our leg. I wouldn't believe it from anyone else. And dropping the pork belly comment made me laugh. Thanks Pete you always life my spirits. God bless you.

My 8 month old loves watching your videos he gets so excited when he hears you on the TV. Another great video
I absolutely love it. One of those special days in the life on the farm. Brings back many memories.
It shows that our belly rules in both human and animals. Happy cows day! Your pork looks delicious too
Never gets old watching the cows move outside... Thanks Pete and Hillary for keeping us in the loop
The star of the farm will be up soon as the grass runs out lol Ms. Patty love this time of the year
Peter instead of troubling yourself, just put some electric fencing around the gravel pile. That way you won’t have to move them out of the pasture until you’re ready.
Glad the cattle are out on grass. Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing
Counter clockwise only north of the equator. Clockwise in Australia. And it won't work in Ecuador. The charcoal just goes out.
Beautiful pasture. Here grass is barely 1.5-2 inches tall and wheather is still cold. The animals will have to wait a bit.
Like the footage from the global headquarters.
Cows were like, never mind the suspense, just open the fence. Lol. Boys the green grass must taste so good to them after eating hay all winter.
My favourite when the cows go out on grass there so happy
Happy tails!!!
Glad the spring there is in full swing and summer is around the corner. that means, it will be here real soon
Congratulations Pete! Thanks for sharing your big day with us!
Love to see them kick up their heel. There way of saying, life is good!
Get the ribs"falling a-party"😂 great day for all, ty!🐂
Pete is awesome. He is the kinda guy you can listening for hours in a documentary show but with a great sense of humor! Love your videos 👍🏻👍🏻
Exciting day Pete! Love to see the grass growin and the cattle munchin.
Lol petes reflexes are fast.that pork morsel was only on the ground for a second!!!! 😂😂😂😂❤

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Patty let you know she was ready to GO!
I can't believe it's been another year! Spring has sprung!
Clean Pete!!! I moved my pigs out to the "right-o-way" paddock yesterday. Took a lot of soap to get piglet poo out out of my nose.!!
Oh man I'd love to try that price of pork it looks amazing. Always nice to get the chores done especially ones like letting animals out to pasture. Best wishes this farm season for ya and caint wait to see that old mini iron run more.

That’s gotta be one of your favorite parts of the year. It’s like new years on the farm.
