Thank you No Jumper to have Lush in his element of Hip Hop from in the days especially not to sleep on the Bay Area artist that bought their style from the 90’s.
He had g mo skee on too, then d-lo was just on too, they have a couple other bay / northern Cali artist on no jumper fosho fosho, if u want to see more of those people go watch the innovators 🫡
Been following Lock since early rap battle days when he battled Disaster. Good to see him getting on a platform like this so more people can check him out and see how talented dude is.
Lush you are a goat with these interviews, the correct questions, never talk over the artist just excellent, locksmith was needed he also was excellent great stories, not one word answers a really golden interview
A lot of people don’t know, but The Frontline we’re both graduates from UC Berkeley. They are smart guys, not just street dudes who decided to rap. They have a message and know how to deliver it.
Much Luv to Lush One + No Jumper for giving Lock this long overdue platform for him to shine his light far & wide 🤟🏽 P.S. This did turn out to be the quintessential Locksmith archive lol 🗄️🗂️
I haven’t watched this yet but I have it saved and I’m going to be watching it tomorrow. I just wanted to drop a comment and say how Fire it is that you are interviewing lesser-known MC‘s that are truly dope and deserve much more recognition. Shout out to lush for always spotlighting dope artists.
This has easily become my favorite No Jumper show. Definitely appreciate the Bay Area gems dropped on this particular episode. Much gratitude from San Jose CA
So many memories stirred up from this interview. I was in Sacramento at the time and I have the same memories with source, wake up show, just that whole hip hop scene. Beat era ever
I had the pleasure of choppin it up with Mistah Fab on multiple occasions and he is truly a genuine awesome guy 👌 much love and respect for this 🔥🔥🔥 interview
@@franciscrank4090 how much you wanna bet Diz told Lush to ask him about that Iron Solomon battle lol I never knew he battled Solomon but it sounds like he lost. That's why I think Diz told Lush to bring it up as revenge haha
Super Dope !! 🎙🎶🔥 Lock is way to slept on. He is 100% one of my favorite spitters, especially from the WC. Seen and chopped it up with him a few times, nothing but respect.
This was perfect material. The perfect interviewer for the guest, who himself is a fascinating subject with whom to share a conversation. Without any exaggeration, easily the best No Jumper clip I've watched of recent memory. I love when you have intelligent, coherent conversations, especially when they aren't full of violence and drugs and exploitation of various sorts. I like a little bit of that stuff, too, but I also need my veggies with my desserts, you dig?
I hadn’t really kept up with Lush’s podcast. But I’ve been keeping up with Locksmith for sure. Dudes music is some of the best out right now. I watched Grindtime a lot back in on the day and Lush was a staple of that shit. Glad to see him healthy and thriving with his podcast. He speaks really well and the conversation feels so natural. I could have listened to two more hours of this convo. Definitely gonna be checking out more episodes of No Jumper.
I think it’s a good idea to have anyone you give a show to show up for at least a few guest appearances on some of the shows first. I didn’t really watch the battle rap pod at all, but after seeing him on the other shows and used to his vibe and input it made me much more likely to give this interview a chance, which I wouldn’t have done for the battle rap pod out of the gatez
True Story! That’s My Guy!!! Real Hip Hop! Thanks for the shout out! 3915 Fleming. I really Appreciate you! (The_Old_Cold) Stay Balance!👍🏾✊🏾👍🏾(The Real Mike Robinson)
No jumper struck gold by bringing Lush on. Might not be super viral views wise, but the content for the audience that those comments apply to, and bringing new fans
Y’all need to get some of the bay ogs in the building. Rbl posse, imp, couhgnut, cellski. Frisco legends. Some of the greatest Mcs of all time. Or a nickatina interview would be hella rare.
Oh wow, dude mentioned Chris Hicks (don't no one know bout him) and I hear Lush from high n mac? Wtf? How do I not know lush from the streets, I'm from a few blocks away? (He's older than me, but still)
Also shout out to locksmith. I met locksmith and left outside of Rasputin‘s in Berkeley right after they dropped their first mixtape they were both cool as fuck and I’ve been rocking with them ever since
Well over due. This guy is super underrated, one of the best rappers alive.

Lush's vocabulary is laudable. Precursor is a dope word.
