I remember watching my friend playing Ocarina of Time on his N64. Amazing how this music track managed to stuck in everyone`s heads even though it only plays in a tiny room
I used to play the flute and completely forgot how to, but this song I still remember how to play, one of my favorite zelda songs

I love ocarina of times version, but something about the Oracle of seasons one just seems better. Maybe I'm an 8-bit guy, but I still like all versions
That was the only other one that was even comparable to the original to be honest, and I feel about the same. It's just that it doesn't sound as dated, the midi instruments don't do the original any favors and putting it as 8-bit just lets us respect the melody and harmony as it is without having to even sit and process the instrumentation being really outdated

It's like people calling for a bloodborne 2 like why, from told their story but most people don't seem to want new, they just want more of the stuff they already like. You know what, there's always COD if that's your thing

This song is nostalgia condensed into pressure waves in the air. I listen to it and remember a simpler time.
I like the sense of adventure the 2008 one gives, but the original is still very good. Id say I like them equally, for different reasons
1:10 This is the first game where I heard the song of storms! I didn't have any other Zelda games before it except its counterpart Oracle of Ages!
Edit: In case you are confused back then the only Zelda games I had were Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons
This song is great, doesn't matter what version you choose, all versions are one of the best songs in the Zelda series and video game in general.
You should also include the Cadence of Hyrule ones.

I actually love the 2001 sound, the metallic sound is so charming and feels very "Zelda" to me.

I really like these lyrics it feels like some sort of ancient poem or scripture that you would see on the wall of a dungeon in Zelda. Really good job man.

I know guys I know don’t kill me for this but Song of storms gives Castlevania vibes . I remember playing circle of moon on the GBA and when I heard the 2001 version it reminded me of Castlevania. Of course I know it’s from Zelda but there’s a little resemblance to me. Zelda Soundtrack is Legendary one Iconic

that song goes so hard and it features the Song of Storms melody only briefly. but when that familiar tune hits, it sounds amazing. i wish the entire song continued with the Song of Storms melody, it just hits to tease you for a moment. but its an insanely cool rendition of this song.
The Song of Storm is also in Ultimate, and maybe also Smash 4 but I can't remeber.

Other than the 8-bit Oracle of seasons version, the other ones aren't good at all. They're just derivative af and lame. I am very disappointed by the music of the other versions, they play the same melody but the rest of the music is so bad. Even the original doesn't sound as good as I thought it did, but the melody and bass are written well enough to where they are still nice to listen to even though the sound effects are really outdated and more sparse than I remembered.
